Dark purple stems on new plants.

Hi all, day 2 of my grow, plants have come out nicely, the leaves look healthy green but the stems look dark purple; pics below.

HELP LOL AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG?!

im using plant magic soil, under a 600W HPS in a fully temperature and climate controlled tent, running temps at 28-29C, plenty of good air flow. Seeds are Girl Scout Cookies. Only had water so far, and this has been tested at a PH of 7.3 (you can view my grow journal on the grow journal section).

any input welcome. Concerned this is an issue. Possible stress, PH issue? I can’t see why they’d be stressed I’ve been played them Ed Sheeran on repeat and giving them lots of love. They’ve not been transplanted, the seeds germinated and were placed immediately into soil, under 20-4 light on/off. PH issue, potentially? I’ve tested all the tap water, and it’s not been too cold, it’s been at room temperature so not to shock the roots with cold water.

I suspect an Ed Sheeran toxicity. Administer Pink Floyd by foliar application. Serious cases may require deployment of the original vinyl.

Hello...soil grown cannabis loves a ph of 6.5 ish....allowing pots to dry between waterings allows oxygen to the roots, but also a "swing" in ph, allowing different nutrients to be up taken. Hope this helps Also, maybe drop your temps a bit..mid to high seventies with hps..higher with led or co2 supplementation.

thanks! I’ll look to lower my PH! They can recover from this though, right?

day 2 on an auto, I mean it looks healthy; but obviously I have to check, a lot of effort is going into this, not to mention the money I’ve invested in a very well equipped set up. I would hate to make one stupid error considering this is my first grow, ignore an issue when I could easily take immediate action to rectify any issues that pop up.

if you’re looking at the pics and you think that’s normal; I’ll take that feedback on board completely lol

I don’t see any signs of light burn either, that’s why I said I’m confident there’s not too much light.

I’ve physically measured 3 times with a tape measure, the light is exactly 18 inches away from the tops of the plants. This is a recommended distance as guides state ideally 12-18 inches. The leaves look fine.

it happens sometimes. Its 2 days old, if its upright and not shriveling up, its fine for now.
Leave it alone and let it grow.

thanks, really appreciate the reassurance. I need another joint this whole purple stem episode has sent my anxiety sky high.
Defo not over watering, so far each pot had an initial 250ml of water and 6 hours of pure light to warm the soil, after 6 hours the seeds went in, and this morning on day 2 the ground felt very very dry, poked my finger down an inch and the soil still felt dry, so I added 300ml to each plant and have left it at that for the time being. Don’t need to add anymore water I won’t expect for days now.

Purple is pretty common, dont overworry. Most older fan leaves get purple stems as they age, it isnt an issue.
Full on purple stems is something to worry about, but in seedlings it is normal

This is bad purple stems.
I've tortured these clones and fed them just enough to keep them alive.

that’s why I’m consulting the grow gods of rollitup before I take any action. I plan to run any observations that alarm me by you guys first, and if all is well then I don’t really need to change anything.
