She is coming along pretty well 8ball kush is a slow grower the same with flowering but it will pick up and put on weight very fast after the third week so I'm starting the forth week now we will see

im using the G.H line grow,bloom and micro she is at 1000 to 1400 ppm and i think she need that twice a week but i dont have a ppm meter so i dont push her that hard

I got a couple tips I picked up from master growers I'll share with you.
You are real close when use the word rope to describe your roots,it's called cord roots,you get them when the water is below the plant not the net pot but the plant itself. Cord roots take energy away & will slow a grow
Also taking leaves off for penetration slows a grow so just fold them behind some other part.
I'm hardheaded so I had to try both they were right,try for yourself to be sure.
This other thing I learned on my own- Never doubt anything Superstoner says about growing,I keep checking but I haven't seen him wrong yet.

I'm new to the growing scene, just about to run my second flower. This thread makes me question what I'm doing. Running 3 plants under a 400w MH then HPS for flower. I haven't set up a Scrog net yet, been trying out super cropping and topping methods. I'm already thinking of how I can set up my own net...

Little tip I've picked up as far as pics are concerned with HPS lights on, hold a piece of cardboard between the plant and the light while you snap a pic with the flash on. Really helps show the colour and definition.

thanks for the info and you are right about the roots i noticed what was going on when it started so jus a few roots roped up.but i prune my plant but not all at once thats when you get the stunt in growth but i do take some of the small leafs off out the middle of the plant thats blocking light from smaller but sites some people prune some dont but it works well for me. i dont know who superstoner is but im pretty sure he knows more than me this is my very first dwc i did i lot of research than gave it a shot so thanks for the advice feel free to drop some knowledge anytime and thanks for the intrest nameno

She is starting to bud up all over I think she is gonna do great 8ball kush suppose to be a 8 week strain but I don't think this will go 8weeks I think more like nine or even ten so looks like it's gonna take a little longer you tell me what you think

I gotta say man that the biggest plant ive ever seen grown in a single 5 gal dwc setup. That little thing was struggling the first couple weeks so im AMAZED at how that plant turned out. I wouldnt be suprised if you got over a half pound from that baby. Only way you can grow somthing that big is if your blasting those roots with o2. How many air stones you have in that pot?

He's using Super Thrive that plays a big part on the roots. The hormones that in it triggers the roots to grow bigger a rapidly. ST is a powerful liquid when used correctly!

Jus one air stone but I use a technique called monster cropping that's what got the plant that big and two months of veg gave me the time to use the monster cropping tecnique
