Curing....

When I started out I used empty Ragu sauce jars for the curing process. Any type of glass jar that has a sealable lid will fill your needs.

You don't want a container that is much larger than the load of product inside. The 20 oz. Ragu jars are the right size to hold one plants product so you can tweak each plant separately.

Good luck, BigSteve.

PS -- I made a game of finding curing jars by hitting the local thrift stores and garage sales to find old-fashioned jars with twisted wire closures. They come with an O-ring in the top for air-tight closure.

Here's a bag from last week - been curing 7 days - just opened it to make sure its curing up nicely.... the smell after 7 days is ridiculous... much better than being in a jar for a week. Pic quality isn't great but..... Theres 95 grams of Super Lemon Haze in that bag so you also save a lot of space (compared to jars). A you can see the buds are definitely compacted but this is not a negative what so ever, in my opinion, Its a bonus... Everyone loves dense little nugs.

Anyway - Everything looks perfect so I sealed it up again and it goes into the curing cupboard until she's needed.. minus a wee nug that im going to try later tonight..

Depending on much yield you have you can ask restaurants or diners for their used glass pickle jars. Any jar with a lid that halfass seals will work.Used mayo jars etc. Just wash well and use hot bleach:water at 1:100 to totally kill anything living.
