Curing without hygrometer?

I bought these on EBAY @ 1.00 a piece ( ordered 5 ). This cheap " insurance " to help dial in your cure. Risking your buds by not " locking " in the RH is too big a gamble.

Each grower gas their sweet spot for curing - I do 2 cures ( 55% and 62-64% ). These small devices are easy to drop in your mason jars and help to know when and IF you need to burp jar. You will hear growers tell you to dry til stem snaps. ( I dry to when stem bends like a straw / deep crease ) and here's why :

Once you OVERDRY your buds , you pretty much screwed the pooch on them.
It is MUCH EASIER to dial down a bud to the RH you are locking in , THEN trying to REHYDRATE OVERDRIED BUD. Rehydrated bud sucks and breaks the curing process. Forget the lemon peel , potato , tortilla bullshit. Once you OVERDRY it's over.

Don't skimp on getting the cure right , you took all that time to grow and harvest .
There are many threads here to help you cure your bud - read and find which process suits you.

Another easy way to cure is to use a CVAULT ,these containers are fool proof and beat mason jars hands down , even though I mason the buds for long term storage.
