Im sick in bed so visiting parts of the forum I don't venture much. All these posts of complicated processes are making my head hurt. Ive been growing buds a while. Ive cured buds before, and honestly it doesn't make a difference in potency or flavor, or the end result for that matter.

my buds are hung dry and to pick one off the hanging plant or pull one out of the jar a month later makes no difference to me. The only thing I can say is it makes it burn better.

All these special ways and to check the rh and burp x amount of times is probably confusing these newbs.

curing a bud that smells and tastes like hay or grass isn't going to make it dank. I call bs on all the scientific experiments.

Im sure everyone will be upset and try and prove me wrong.

Newbs - chop your plants, hang them dry and put them in a jar. If there too wet, let them dry longer. Its that simple.

My bud taste good fresh off a dry plant, after its been in a jar for a week, same after a month. Concentrate on your grow.

Thats all I do I have people begging me for bud lol. Can't sell that shit now that I am medical its not worth the risk. I am sure there is a proper way to doing everything just do what your happy with.

Keep the weed in a glass jar in a cool dark closet and burp it every day or every other day. You will be happy the longer the bud lasts.

i hate to disagree, but curing surely makes the bud smell 100x's better ime... drying it, i tend to lose the smell, and a good three weeks plus in jars, brings that smell right back...
plus chlorophyll breaks down and makes for a much smoother smoke.. really is no comparison between uncured bud and cured..

all of these people who say flushing makes a difference, i believe they either rush a cure or don't cure at all as i find curing to do what the flushing crowd says flushing does for their bud, minus the white ash thing as i'll never understand that one personally..

It makes a difference but its slight, curing it helps it stay fresh longer more than anything

good bud will taste great after picking a few bottom nugs and letting them dry in the grow room over a few days
when growing from seeds many plants/phenos are bland in flavour or just taste unpleasant to me

this may be a simplified version of curing... But you are still curing... Right?

Mine taste great there all from seed. I have noticed that my friends organic buds always have a much better taste but he has been growing twice the length of my life.

So you would rather we return to stone age curing? Where we have no idea of when to stop burping and lose crops to mold?

Good plan.

you hit the nail on the head bud, i didnt believe it made all that much of a difference either OP until i started doing it properly.

there is a HUGE difference between cured and uncured, you should really give it a try.

i've also seen this done with like corn husks.. it wasn't corn husks per se, i don't think, but you get the idea...
the wrapped the bud in the not corn husks corn husks, and buried it in the ground for like a year. think it's some place in africa, but i could be way off base here..

LOL buddy, very helpful post

Clones are selected from (seeds) because of desirable traits (phenotype selection)

seeds can give many undesirable phenotype's

when growing seeds there is more chance some plants will be undesirable in some capacity.
