CSI humboldt thread

I bought 800 euros worth of seeds from CSI Humboldt, and do you know what they did? They labeled the package as "jewelry." Of course, customs opened it, and they came to search my house. I lost 50,000 euros and got a 6-month suspended prison sentence. Labeling it as jewelry—during my trial, when I heard that, I was stunned. I contacted him several times, and he never replies. I would have liked to know why he labeled it as "jewelry," knowing that it's one of the most heavily inspected items by customs. It’s like putting a target on my back. This was the worst move I’ve ever made in my life. I lost my entire seed collection, and now I’m flagged as part of organized crime. I even lost my driver’s license due to constant police checks. My life has become very strange, and I almost broke down more than once. I will get back on my feet, but it was really hard to go through, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Be very careful! If you're in Europe, don't order from American breeders.
Damn. Isn't he on attitude? I probably would have skipped the freebies and went that route if the consequences were this dire.

Putain. 800 euros de graines + des cadeaux, c'est une sacrée quantité de graines à envoyer dans une zone de prohibition. Ça doit faire plus de 25 paquets. C'est fou.

According to the customs report, there were exactly 161 seeds in the package, so he actually doubled the order as he usually does, it's the jewelry mention that leaves me perplexed, I made a mistake on my side thinking that the authorities before Christmas would have so many packages that they wouldn't have that to do, but with a jewelry mention it doesn't matter, you will be verified. I don't understand this amateurism or this malice, if I can avoided this mishap for anyone so I find it interesting to share it here. I don't want to create drama in any way.

Yeah, that’s how they got me. In Europe, even though cannabis seeds are legal to buy and sell under certain conditions, you actually need to get prior authorization to import them. Customs require specific documents, like phytosanitary certificates or import permits, to allow the seeds to enter the country legally.
Since I didn’t do that, they considered the import non-compliant with regulations, which gave them a reason to seize the seeds and potentially start an investigation. It’s a trap that many people fall into because not everyone knows that authorization is required, especially when the seeds are technically legal.
It’s a tough lesson, but now I know what to expect if I ever want to import them legally again.
