crossing an auto with photoperiod

eventually you will loose hybrid vigor and will need to cross it
this is just my opinion like anything else you need some new genes every now and then
yeah, that damned hybrid vigor is a bitch, lol.. but don't you lose hybrid vigor each time you make a new generation, ie, an f2 will be less vigorous than an f1, f3 less than an f2, so on and so on?

Damn this should be in the advanced section.. My old screen name was masterofgenetics, pre-banned name....lol

They allowed me back, thank you RIU

I have been breeding for about 8 years here and there. I usually use 10 generations of cuttings before I renew the gene pool..

I keep it simple...lol no math. Just pheno's

sweet I think this will be a fun experiment if it turns out to be a boy. My girls look realllly good now probably the best grow I've had yet(sofar). I think it would be a fun deal to try breading. Even just a couple times. I know ordering seeds isn't a crime but I still get parenoid. And man it just seems like an alround smart Idea to breed

them seed banks gotta be sittin well. If they can do it so can I hahaha just maybe not as good haha

its really hard to trust and find a good seed bank. The best ones are in-house like the Clinic in Denver, they breed their own in house.

Stay away from green house. Ive had horrible time with growing their bullshit. Ordered some White Widow from them. All went hermie lost everything. cost me tons of money....

you know, I've only ordered one time. And that one time, I was extremely disappointed. The seed looked under developed. Took like almost a week and a half to germinate and didn't sprout, like period. I believe everything was from nirvana through single seeds. It just sucked. I've had better luck with bag seeds and seeds from friends or cuttings from friends ha why order lol

Never try breeding with a femanised seed ,because of the reason that if the fem seed has produced male traits then it is a hermie these traits will be took over to the seeds.

Buy auto seeds regular and if you can i have a friend who does his own so i just get them of him doing super skunk this year.
this will mean all your time has been wasted because of the seed.

If your going with femanised seeds this i would not advice but sometimes its the only way, good for new growers but for genetics
good ones you need regular seeds, because you can then pick 100% female or 100% male and cross the two but then you will have to pull the males, what i do is do out door grows through the summer and ditch indoor till winter,

I still have a friend who does indoors all year and he keeps the mothers our genetics, just ordered a gsc to cross with the cheese x blueberry i have so 3 way back cross, also in tghe middle of crossing jack herer x blues x cheese .

Breeding takes over in the end it is addictive though,i still want bud, for oil and hash. But im after makeing a cross of the 3 strains that have took me years to get.so i always have beans.

In the uk law wise its far easyer to hide beans than it is a 12 ft mother lol,the cheese i have is the origiinal cheese not the diluted one that all the seed companys seem to be selling, big buddah are supposed to have the original uk cheese it is not it defo has a few of the cheese traits but it is not the same cheese we all have.

I'm not sure if this is for the reason i have come across no one has the original cheese male.Well i aint come across no one.
They recon that the original cheese comes from luton i disagree i think its originally from barnsley south yorkshire where i got it from many many many moons ago.

So if you are gonna try to make your perfect plant might not be a a plant every one else likes but if your doing it for your self and not money then go for it like i have said its great to get a plant of your favorite strains.Go for it i wanted to create a strain with jack herers yeild but with cheese and blues smell .

And the cheese and blues i have stink sometimes too strong, made my first batch of hash of the cheese in years yesterday been side tracked by oil and sift, but from now on all my crop will go to oil apart from the bits that i give to patients that need it FOR NO COST,Sometimes i get a bit towards electric but that's it.I do not steel electric too so any uk growers out there reading this take note 4/5 people i know who have just been done for growing 4 was wired jail the other paid for his fine so be aware of this sorry that was nowt to do with breeding but thought i had to get that in.

I do auto's outside in summer for the reason of ya don't have to wait till there trees to harvest i get 3/4 per plant so im happy. But i all ways have another two regular sites with 3/4 on each patch.I leave it has late has possible with out door growing[june/july] though most plant early i want them to be out doors for has short time has possible.Of the two reg sites if there not found i get min 7oz dry,but most of the time around a lb of each one.

The reason i am talking about outdoor growing on this thread,is because i would advice breeding outside unless you[ brush, and bag indooor's] .brush the male pollan on a branch low down or i do a few of the bottoms then i bag them with a clear bag with just a couple of air holes put in with a pin for fresh air.By doing this the rest of the plant will not produce seed,so we hope, its all ways worked for me.Make sure all the fans are of while your brushing the pollen on the bottoms though.

Hope this gives you a few ideas on what to think about if you are going to breed, your own strains. Its great fun though and very interesting you can't just put any old male on a female well ya can but [select ]a male with traits that will suit your room.Eg -height short i go for middl eof the road short stocky plants
-------- .

I just wish our goverment would get there arse into gear when it comes to cannabis, because i have some projects on the go at the min that would be so good to share through seed sites. But it is just not viable at the min.So the crossing strains will be done in the great outdoors this year well greenhouse.

Cannatonic is going to be added to the blue's i have too i am wanting a high cbd strain and it seems cannatonic is prob my best option,i don't smoke to get high.Thc defo works with pain and sleep for the anxiety i find that cheese has really helped my wife prefs the jack herer for ibs and me/cfs also sleep, thats why im wanting a 3 way cross, the 3 strains do diff things mediacaly we have found

Good luck stay green enjoy, let me know how you go on,There is a small chance that you might fall lucky and get a full male, but if ya do complain because if there femanised seeds they should not be male, but will have male traits that will just be waiting for the slightest chance to through male parts be that temp's light dep, high nutes thats why i all ways tell new growers to start with reg seeds you will learn far more.People think its harder work, regular seeds. It is the first one but once you have a female its yours for has long has you want i have kept females for 6/7 year the cheese for one, jacks about 4 yr old the blues i have is new i only had that for around 2 year.

please stop spouting nonsense about fem's having hermi traits
its simply not true
a chemical induced hermi's offspring is no more likely to hermi then a reg of the same strain
shotty genetics from shotty breeders is what causes hermi's

i know you took alot of time to write this but its regurgitated nonsense filled with misinformation
