ok so im building my vertical grow... and i havea problem with how many shelfs to fit
no pictures as of yet but sooooon
ill just explain
so its 3 walls... in a U shape.. 2 8ft walls and one 4 foot . height isnt a problem
i want 60 plants... one per foot.. the plan was 24 on each 8 foot wal(3 rows of 8 ) and 12 on the 4foot wall . the open end is just mylar for now and eventually i will build another wall which i can swing open and shut may aswell use all the space aye.
2 1k hps the first 2 foot from the 4 foot wall the second 3 foot away from that ..
so the first light would be on mainly 36 plants and the second on the other 24.
is the lighting enough to cover all the flats well enough? the 3 rows will be staggered so the bottom row grows between the next row and they grow between the top row.. so it will only be about a 4 foot wall of green ... maybe a bit more..
the strain is chronic so ill train it for one large bud and veg a while.. so they fill the space accordingly..
i just wonder (because its my frist vet) if i hand a light how many feet high will it cover on the left and right i mean could i add another row or is 3 enough?
any advice is much apreciated.
