Girls are really looking nice bud! I had to look up that car, hell some of the AMG models go for more than I paid for my house, barn and land:D. I can't talk as I've spent the last 25 years trying to fix up an old 71 Pontiac Lemans and have put way too much money and sweat into it over the years. It's at the shop now while I'm saving up to get the new engine installed and finished. This is an old pic from Ft Hood base housing.Pontiac Pic15~2.JPG

Sweet looking ride! I’m still poking around looking at convertibles…if I could find a 2020 corvette convertible, not at $30k over MSRP, might be an option. It’s nuts what these are going for. The wait is over a year if ya order one; shoulda got on the list early…

I think the CdlC are gonna be ready in a couple weeks. Tons of tricromes on the sugar leaves, and lots of brown pistils…if they go first, that’ll let the 4 way crosses have the tub to themselves for their final sprint to the finish line!

Why am I seeing you at Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale this year in my mind :bigjoint:? I've only had one convertible and it was a Jeep. I was living in the city and got tired of people cutting the window and or top to steal the change from my ashtray or stereo. It was fun in the summer though. The new Vette is a real monster, I don't think I could climb out of one without looking like a crippled crab though they sit so low. My buddy has a ZR-1 and I can't even imagine it as a daily driver with my back. I love the bench seats and high back buckets of the old cars, it's like driving in my recliner.
I culled one of the bubba kush plants to make room in the tent for the biggest three plants so now I've got one bubba kush, one motorbreath 15 and one la girlz that have all been topped at least once and the bubba has been topped multiple times. Hopefully I'll flip this week sometime once I'm sure the roots in the transplants are good and filled out. This is LA Girlz at a week after topping for 8 colas. Motorbreath 15 is in the background. Should be interesting as I have no idea what the stretch is going to be.IMG_20220315_153551225.jpg

Damn they are gonna be huge! Since I’m growing autos I don’t top my plants, but might experiment with the outdoor grow. I’ve had fun with the heavy handed LST so time to add to the repertoire of tracks.

I watched a few hours of the Mecum auction in Scottsdale over the last couple days. I didn’t register as a phone or internet buyer for this one, but might for the next one just for S&G…I’ll give the GF my phone and credit cards to hold just to be safe. the corvette market is just nuts. You can go to the Corvette website and specify out a 2022 convertible with modest options and it MSRPs for around $75k. Used ones from 2020 and 2021 are going for around $100k. So, if you were smart enuff to get in the list early, and got a 2020 version, you could net around $30k on a simple turn. I’m gonna walk into a dealer, in my shabbiest gardening clothes and tell them I wanna order a new one and see how long it takes to get their attention. I did that stereo shopping many years ago and it was hilarious. Salesmen would actually turn the other way and walk away when I approached them. The one who finally did help me had a good commission that day. I’m about to have a crushing bill on my taxes, and have some medical stuff in the near future that is gonna cost some $. Helps to put salve on those wounds if I buy myself something nice at the same time.

glad yr garden is blossoming-you should get a huge yeild! this is the “funnest” hobby I have and I have a few…look forward to sharing samples of our efforts. Variety is the spice of life (I am heavy in cliche mode this morning)…

Shifted positions, CdlC on the ends nd 4 way cross in the middle. That allowed me to lower the twin two foot T5 fixtures lower into the enclosure. With 10,000k bulbs, burning 15 min/hr for the middle 7 hrs of the lighting period the tops are gonna get frosty as heck I hope. Trend is in that direction…

I gave them full strength KoolBloom with full strength Signal; 900ml/plant. Phased that watering with some ph 6.5 water; 500 ml of feed, wait 10 minutes, 400 ml of water, wait ten minutes, 400 ml of feed. I like to let the soil become wet fully down into the pot, and letting them sit for 10 in between watering hopefully allows that.

will be heavy on phosphorous from Mammoth P, KoolBloom and Ripen, and Terpinator/Signal from here on out. Maybe 1 more full strength feeding of FF wk 9, and a dry day or two. The finish line is in sight!

Bet that room is smelling nice. They really do look so good with the side lighting filling in the lowers. Definitely something I want to copy when I get the chance.
I decided to flip tonight as the girls are looking good and really getting big for the tent. I have another motorbreath 15 clone in my smaller tent I'm letting veg separately until it gets bigger. Hopefully I'll get my 5x5 tent soon and I'll try to get all 4 together in that so they have room to spread out. If not I'll move my 2x4 into my flower room and just flower it in the 2x4.IMG_20220319_184827290~2.jpg

I like the T5s for side lighting; don’t add too much heat to the space and you can let the plants het pretty close t)them without burning. I have another 4 foot four fixture light I’ll use somewhere else eventually, maybe in another tub/shower enclosure to give my outdoor plants a head start indoors…

the literature for CdlC claims a 65 day harvest period if conditions are good, so I’m targeting 28 Mar as the decision point. No problem letting them go longer if needed…until then, heavy on phosphorous and ter[ene boosters.

your garden is looking awesome, will be cool when ya get the 5 by 5 and give them some room to fill out too…mine are kinda cramped in the tub. I always argue with myself over 3 or 4 plants, but the argument always ends up with the same conclusion…4 plants is manageable, and I think I’m gonna harvest in 2 efforts with this one. Will let the 4 way crosses have the tub to themselves for the 8 day drying cycle once I put the CdlC in the CannaCool cabinet.

hope all is well up there in the wilderness…everything is starting to turn green down here and spring is just around the corner…we’ll, it started today I think…

Saw my first bear signs this week so it's definitely spring time. The little guys will be up to all kinds of mischief as the mom's kick them out of the families. Nothing worse than the young bears, they're too young to know better. I'll have them all over my yard by the middle of next month. Just have to carry something to scare them off when I go outside until they learn. I'm doing all organic again so just the dry amendments and some molasses and recharge. I'm going to try and get some earth worm castings soon for the first top dressing but haven't been able to find a local worm farm. I'd love to see a true 65 day strain but I'm guessing you will have to give them a bit longer based on how many white pistils there are. Who knows, plants ripen at their own pace. I've been letting mine go a lot longer lately and the yield and flavor has been a bit better.

I was walking on a path in AK at Katmai National Forrest, turned a corner and stumbled on a grizzly sitting in the middle of the trail. 10 feet from me. I slowly backed up and all I saw was the bear’s rump sauntering lazily away. The saying in AK goes, if ya rely on a hand gun for bear protection up there, just make sure you grind down the front sight. Hurts less that way when the bear shoves it up your ass.

everything is going well in the tub. i moved a couple mylar covered foam core panels around to bounce light downward on the plants at the back of the enclosure, and will do the same for the front. See the last picture below. It’s all about reflections and light from every possible angle…

900 ml of full strength FF wk 9 this morning with some SI added in the additional 400 ml of water I gave them. the stalks on the four way crosses are like pencils - stiff as a board which is good cuz they be all weighted down by frost nuggets…

im not locked into the 65 day figure, but it gives me a point to begin that evaluation…longer is better I agree…F5194C9F-7934-4AA8-968E-638A8307B7CE.jpeg769933F0-023B-4674-BF30-849F92C87E3B.jpegC589D62F-3F6A-4986-8112-9D4F6BDFEE78.jpeg92724FDE-B498-492E-A487-E6103D7C042F.jpeg

Lazy today so pictures where they sit. Better portraits this weekend. I’ve been hitting them pretty heavy with a witches brew of nutrients and supplements…first half hour of most days is spent just figuring out what that days feeding will be. I’ll probably dial that back and start using just ph 6.5 ish water for a couple days and add in one or two more dry days before harvest.

I think they are a week or two from the big chop; macro photography this weekend will tell the tale…

Today is trim day…these are the 4 way cross freebies Mephisto sent me with my last order. They are tall, lanky and have lots of internodal spacing up the stalks. I just finished a preliminary trim on the plants, and stuck them back in the grow space under all the light I can muster for their last few hours. These should be an easy trim since I took off all the large fan leaves and they are pretty clean. The side lighting paid huge dividends; minimal larf, and all the buds, from top to bottom, are keepers…

the Creme de la Chem are gonna be a different story though - short, stocky and dense. They’ll finish their run to the finish line as is (no preliminary trim). More to follow on them.

And yes, I started at 0420 this morning.

gonna be a bountiful and sticky day…

Stacked focus close up of the main cola on CdlC #1. Around 60 individual shots on a focusing rail, moving forward in small increments on manual focus. About a half an hour worth of Photoshop processing and voila...CdlC 1 macro.jpg

Stacked focus shot of CdlC #2. I made the mistake of rubbing my eyes after messing with the plants - damn did that sting, and I am high shit right now! Fucking A, am I!

Congrats bud, another one into the EZ Bake oven lol. I love the drying machine, it looks so high tech. It's gotta be a good feeling to catch a break for a little bit with no plants to worry about. Hope your buddies plants like their stay in the UFO dome. Enjoy your harvest bud.

My buddy grew some double grape and it was awesome - tight dense buds, great aroma, powerful high…

I swear by Mephisto - great prices, quick shipping and awesome variety…my outdoor grow will be Mango Smile from Mephisto. It is mostly sativa so it’ll be fun to train to grow horizontal…
