Hi everyone,

closing in on operation #1-
i've assembled a shopping list, please let me know what i may be missing/pricing incorrectly

specs are as follows- growing White Satin, in an armoire, under 400w HPS/MH.

Light/air-cooled reflector/bulbs/hangers- $300
Pots- $5-10
Ph test kit- $10
Soil- $40
Nutrients- $20
Armoire- $50 (used off Craigslist)
Thermometer/hygrometer- $15
Carbon Filter- $30-60
Mylar- $20
Fans- $200
Seeds- $30
H20- $25
Mini dehumidifier- $20

For a grand total of almost $800. What do you guys think? Any thoughts/input would be much appreciated, getting excited, hoping to start before the end of february and harvest before end of summer.

bkbkbk i think youve got it figured out about right give or take a few, and inline fans are expensive.....!!

ya i just finished my set up and i've spent about $2000 for a legit setup!!! nutrients are going to cost more like $100-$200 depending on how much you want. i think itll cost you about $1000 once u get started.

Thanks for the replies. As I close in I now actually think I'll be able to get the budget a bit lower- I got my light/reflector/bulbs for 200, a 240cfm whisperline fan for 90, and other than nutes I'm not spending much more than I thought I would.

I think probably incidentals and stuff will pop it back towards 800, but just wanted to show w/ some patience I think (so far) that a legit op can be done for < 1000.

mine came in at about 1400 (included everything from seed to nails to hold the box together). A DIY hydro system (with similar features) would have saved me less than a hundred bucks.
