Sounds like a spendy venture, lakeshore is expensive....So are cabins
not if you dont pay for it n just find a place n build out in the middle of nowhere ;-) i dont think anybody would find you and if they do then just pay for the land

I will be living that way near the beach. (Not on the beach but on the dunes) Add a dunebuggy or sandrail to that list and money, lots of it, and we're thinking similar.

Never give up money though, it's a necessity. Get the cabin, and even if you don't need the money always keep growing kind of big and stashing money away and just never plan to use it, that's fine, but at least plan so you have it in case you do need it.

Shit happens...

Especially out in the wilderness with forest fires.

You need to buy your land or at any minute you could be kicked off or burned out. Then once you buy it you'll need to pay taxes on it.

Unless you already have tons of cash saved you need health insurance and car insurance and house insurance...

Life requires a car really, especially when that far away from other people.
(How would you take your wife into the doctor if there was an emergency? On your bicycle? 50-100 miles or more in the snow?
It's either that or a dead wife.

Except I want an electric car and electric toys when that's possible, get off the gas... Electric has come a long way it's just about there for toys now.

Oregon...you beat me to it Dude :hump:

"Into the wild"

My favorite part of the movie is when he's out by the Salton Sea (a shit hole of a place) and the girl who plays Bella on Twighlight is into the guy. She's 16 in the movie (oh so nice). Dude is like early 20's right? Anyway she gets him in her trailer and he stuffs that turkey.

She looked really hot in a white trash way. Oh and she was 16.

I've been to Brazil. My chick is Brazilian. Her family lived in Rio for years but now they're in the North East of Brazil. The state of Sergipe is pretty much on the equator. The weather is killer and $1000 American dollars go a long way.

If you could find a way to make $1000 American dollars you can have a small house a residential block from massive beautiful beaches and a car. Sergipe is the poorest state in all of Brazil. You are a baller if you have a decent car.

If you're an Americano with a car...well you're King Shit on Turd Island. Actually is an incredible place. We bought a lot a few years ago for $1500. A house is around $25k. The city is Aracaju.

Edit- the dank blo's. If you brough a hundred seeds with you and grew some nice herb I think you would do just fine :)

I'd love that but I'd have three Rottweillers... I'd try and sell maybe two bags a week to keep you in food, petrol and electricity... :-) It can be done, but you have to be really well set up first... I plan to do something similar....:-)

In Easy Rider, the man says, "Nice place you got here."

And the farmer looks at him like "What?"

[The setting is a humble farm]

And the guy explains, "Not many men can live off the land, [then he finishes the sentence]"

But really, that wilderness type shit, living with no other people around... don't know if I'd go for that... Society is hard to break away from, even when you're defying it in every possible way... you still have to be involved... there're some people that can do it, but I'm not one of them...

It might not buy happiness but it will buy you a jet-ski. Try not to be happy riding a jet-ski:weed:
earlier you said its the key to happiness. its not.

material things can be fun and i agree jet-skis are always a great time...

but nothing brings more happiness than toking and talking with friends (irl, altho RIU is pretty fun as well)... imo

the key to happiness is great relationships, the weed just enhances the conversations into a back and forth stand up comedy...nothing like toking with friends!

^^both of which require no money (if you grow outdoors)

Fantastic movie...didn't he die from eating some wild shrooms or something? It's been so long since i've seen it...

Into the Wild is the name of the movie

Do you think that you could live out in a big cabin by a lake with little too no money and just grow weed and live a peaceful life, by getting food by hunting or going to town and buy things in bulk. if you think you could how would u do it?

heres wat id do.. Id have the cabin by a lake and some how use that for water and have some kind of filter system to clean it or if i lived in a area where it rained alot id have a big tank to catch rain water and also use the lake for water. Id probly hunt for my food and have a big garden with veggies and fruits. Id have solar panels for power in the cabin, Id have sum kind of crazy setup if i wanted internet so im not totally cut off from the world lol. I wouldnt have a cell phone unless their is service out their id maybe have one for emergencys if I was going out hunting or something. Id have a big green house to grow marijuana in, Id have couple dirtbikes and a truck for entertainment also a boat to go on the lake and to fish. id have 2 dogs maybe 3 id want 2 rotties and maybe a husky if i got a third one. the only thing id be spending money on would be gas and other supplys that id need to start growing and build everything and gas for the vehicles.
Nice thoughts... To me, being totally "cut off" from the world would be the whole point of it.

im not saying like be completely cut off from the world n just live out their, id just like to have a place out in the woods like that. id still be driving distance from a decent sized town and see people and what not.

Yea but without the money you can not get the things that make you happy. they say money can't buy you love but it sure can make being with the one you love a lot easier.. just by eliminating the stress that having no money brings... PEACE
