Well i need to rig up my 42w cfl,s but they dont have built in ballasts, i remembered i had a uv light that had a bilt in ballast and simply took black flourecent tubes.
My question is can i just hook up the cfl's that dont have a ballast to the wirses that are meant to connect to the tube?
The cfl's im going to be using are not tubes.
Ive taken the light apart and this is what it says on the ballast.
Lightspeed
Flourecent lamp ballast
Then theres a table like this
Lamp.............C(uF)......... i (A).......... COS
1x15w.......... ------ ..........0.33........ 0.29
1x15w....... 2.6+4%420v... 0.33.......... 0.29C
thewres one of them lil fuse box things i think that says
H-1x
4-65w
220-240v
I want to connect a 42w to it...well as many as possible really.
I just dont wana fry the ballast as it will be a waste of money, altho i dont mind taking it apart if its going to help the plants.
