Couchlock and Hawaiian Red Flowering 61 days

Hey Guys, new to rollitup, but Ive grown a few harvests prior. Nothing spectactualar, but always decent smoke. My latest grow has been grown in a micro-fridge. I have a 250 digital ballast running HPS currently and veg'd for about 15 days with MH.

Im currently a little over 60 days flowering. One strain is coughlock (afghani # 1 x NL #5) Couchlock is the smaller of the two. The bigger plant is supposedly Hawaiian Red. I bought a gram of this at my dispensary and it had a few seeds in it. I germinated a couple of them....one was female and here you go.

Currenlty under 30x scope, the trichs are 50/50 clear to amber.

I just started my flush on the last watering (2 days ago) and figure I can flush them for a total 10 days. So I'll have about 8 more days. Im hoping I get a little more density, a lot more crystals, and maybe like 30-50 amber trichs by then.

What do you guys thinks? Will 50/50 clear to cloudy turn to amber in 7-8 days?

Anyfeedback is appreciated. I love these little girls. I overfert'd them a little, and I think I had some minor issues with PH lockout. But overall Im pretty happy with how they are coming along.

The Hawaiin Red is about 18inches tall (about 4-6 inches away from the fixed light) and the Couchlock is about 14 or so inches. I think I'll get about 2 oz's dry from the Hawaiian, and maybe 3/4 - 1 on the Couchlock.

Hope you enjoy. Comments, critiques appreciated. I'm still trying to learn and get better.

I meant to say........currently the trichs are 50/50 clear to cloudy and I'm aiming for the trichs to go amber on about 30 - 50 percent. The smaller plant, Couchlock appears to almost be done. She's a pure indica so I'm expecting her to go first. Would cutting her down in a week be a good plan?

The Hawaiian Red, I think is indica dominant also. Her trichs are getting close to 50% cloudy. She looks like she could fill out a little more. She's not quite as fuzzy as the Couchlock. How much longer should I wait on her?

i would say 4 to 7 days. could even be up to 10. just wait it out as they must really be fattening up right now at 9 weeks in flower. have you noticed the bud growth continue of late? since you have good equipment, just check everyday, like you wouldnt anyway! :-) :leaf:

gorgeous plants man rep+ for sure and subscribed! looking forward to seein more!

Nice plants bro! +rep I would say flush em and cut em in 2 weeks!! Gotta flush em for sure or they will taste like shit! Then after you flush em at the stage the leaves should yellow and die. Get rid of all that nitrogen man, flush it all away it tastes like poop i know from expierience even after water curing. Looks like its gonna be DANK for sho!:leaf::leaf::leaf:

Yes, the plants are definitely fattening up now. Thanks for the reponses.

So yes......I am going to flush until they are ready to be chopped. Maybe around another 7-14 days. Should I use distilled water with nothing added to it? I watered again last night and measured the PH on the runoff from the soil containers. I flushed with distilled water only . The runoff on the bigger plant read around 6.0 to 6.5 PH, while the smaller Couchlock plant read between 6.5 - 7.0 PH.

Should I be concerned? Or just continue flushing with distilled water and hopefully they will both settle into 6.5 to 6.8 PH range once more of the nutes and salts are flushed away?

Just flush it will the distilled water. I wouldn't add anything to it.

beutifal buds bro, btw you said you veg'd for only 14 days then went strait to bloom? is that how you achieved the big single main colas on each plant? thats cool. iv always let them go for awhile longer and had'em branch out but i might have to try what you do next time-im making a smaller cabinet

Intensive,

Yes. They were on MH 18/6 for a total of about 3 weeks. They sprouted from germinated seed a day or two after planting. I don't really count the first week or so as veg time as they are still just small seedlings. But yes, about 21 days of 18/6. I have limited space, a mini-fridge as you can see with a fixed light. I positioned the plants on books so they were close to the light. Maybe about a foot a way. As they grew I just removed a book or two until I was comfortable with the spacing. I was hoping that this would limit their strech, because it I run out of room....I'm screwed.

I then switched the light to a HPS, and went 12/12. Again I continued to remove the books from underneath the potting containers to accommodate for growth. After roughly 2 weeks, sex was evident and I removed the males. The couchlock strain is indicated for a short stocky, plant being a pure indica, that usually traits to a single cola plant. The bigger of the 2 plants, Hawaiian Red, I'm not so sure about. On that plant I did have 2 small side branches starting to form. They were low branches that probably weren't going to to grow into much....so I snipped them. Other than that, I did no other pruning.

I hope that info was helpful. Let me know if you have any other questions.

instead try doing this from clone. a 6 inch clone that is fully rooted will achieve the same thing with zero veg time. seeds are a gamble.

I'm about 1 week into my flush. So I could go another 7 days or so if I wanted. I was checking the trichs last night................Most are cloudy on the big plant, and I even spotted a few amber trichs. I'm hoping I see more on her tonight. The smaller plant is still 50/50 cloudy to clear. No amber yet. Maybe I'll see some tonight????

I had them under close inspection last night. They still seem VERY green while I was looking at them under a CFL. HPS always distorts things for me. I find I can get a better view of things when I take them out of the grow box and look at them under lower lighting. I'm probaby being over critical with them, but they still look full of nutes. I'm aiming for some super CLEAN smoke so I'd rather go too long, than too short on the flush. Plus I want to see at least 30% Amber trichs.

Will the trichs continue to change even after I chop them down?

I'll put some new pics up tonight, I'll try to get one with the scope (if possible). That way you guys can get a better look as well. I'm anxious to hear what you guys say

Alright.....here we go. About 4 or 5 days from my last photo update.

They have now been flushing for 6 days. I did my final leeching last night.

There's been some minor growth I guess. Its hard for me to tell because I stare at them every single night. Maybe you can tell the difference more so than I can. How's it looking to you?
