I have a Harle Quinn clone that I purchased about 2 months ago... It said it would be ready to flower in about 8-10 weeks.... I purchased everything that i believe it needs such as light, proper soil, food, so on and so forth. However, it's supposed to move to flowering by November 2nd and she is NO where near that. Its like she won't grow. Plus, I don't know where her strain even comes from to figure out what to do with her... Somebody please help!!!!!!!..... :wall:

I"m no expert but I've been around a few forums of different stuff before...so start from the beginning..what's your light cycle, what nutes (and how often) are you feeding. Water schedule, temps etc...this is all vital info as far as what I've read here and on other sites RE: the girls health. If I can't answer I'm sure someone can and will for you hopefully.

Okay so here's the problem... This is my very first time growing on my own. Plus my girl is indoors in my closet lol... Oh that was shameful to say.... Anyhow, I have her on 18/6 for veg Im not really sure how often and how much of the water and nutes she is to recieve.... I've read numerous things about how to do it... I am just worried I don't have that green thumb... But I do know her temp is at about 75 and she has a 400 w lamp on her. I'm using the miracle grow moisture control soil and the bloom booster. I just basically need somebody who knows what they are doing.... Lol

Your soil is probably your first problem. Unfortunately, that soil is crap for growing cannabis plants. It is very likely that you have over watered the plant and that you have root rot. Watering should occur when you lift the planter and it feels outrageously light. Then you water to saturation with run off. This is usually every 3-4 days depending on heat, humidity and plant size it can be as often as daily, or as infrequent as weekly.

You cannot know the temperature without a thermometer. My 400w lamp in a wing reflector keeps my 2x4 tent at a steamy 82 degrees even with 180 cfm exhaust and additional 4" intake fans. The only way I can keep it in the mid 70's is with a cool tube or with air conditioning blowing into the intake fan.

Since you're behind with this plant you might want to just cut your losses and start from scratch. The stress from this period of life is likely to force her to produce male flowers in response. The risk is pretty great in your case. If you can manage to get another clone, and this time place it in a 1 gallon planter of some Organic soil, or coco coir, and then use a quality nutrition line not found at a hardware store you will have better luck.

There are a slew of other things to address, but from what I know now it is that you have a 400w light system with one plant in a closet without a thermometer and using miracle grow soil. You are also confused about watering... This isn't a great start, but it's not like the end of the world. Fill us in more on what you've spent money on, and what you're trying to accomplish, and we'll guide you down the right path.

I have the same tent size 2x4 with an exhaust of 206cfm and a duct booster for airflow of 167cfm with only one fan inside the tent with a temp of 72 - 76 running a 400 watt ballast with no heat tube or reflector and my babies love it!! where do you keep your tent? it could be its location that's giving it the high temp?

My tent is in a 10x12 bedroom with another 5x5 tent. Temperature in the room is a stable 70 to 75. Without the tent there isn't a heat issue.

It might be where you're measuring your temperature from. I keep my remote sensor about 1 inch above my canopy, which is maybe 18" below the uncovered MH bulb currently. The bulb radiates heat, there's nothing that can be done about it. Without some kind of direct flow of air over the bulb this heat is going to reach the canopy raising the temperature a few degrees at the least compared to at the bottom of the tent.

I find heat to be a major contributer to slow growth.

Here's a picture of the tent from afar to give you an idea of what my system looks like and to see if maybe you've been underestimating the heat at the canopy.

I see your point, when I first purchased my tent my intentions were to setup inside the house in a room not in use. Then I figured jeez man my house can get pretty damn hot and humid at times so instead of buying more ventilation and what not I setup my tent in the garage where temps are below a lil below 75 at times.
I have a digital temp and a low budget temp meter I keep hanging in side with both reading from 72 -76 and both right under the light. Am planning to setup another tent and buying only duct boosters for airflow and suction and see how the temp will manage in the garage.
