Computer Case.

will growing in a short but wide pot increase the plant's wide growth?

Quick question guys,

I need a cooling system tat keeps air cool while the fan circulates it. U guys have any idea how to do tat? I was thinking ice packs but, u gotta change it too often. thz

Strip the inside and get a rectangular pot to fit nicely and one thats not too tall you can bend the plant all around the edge of the pot with LST and you'll be surprised how nice it'll turn out. But you can have the light 24hr but youll have to tend to her everyday. And if you could fit two of those lights in there it would be ideal. But you probably want a fan that will pull air out of the computer and a small carbon filter to keep the smell from escaping. The LST will def make it more worthwhile in that small a space.

just make sure that there's a hole somewhere underneath for fresh cool air to come in while a fan attached to the case pulls air out trough a filter

hmm i c.. but thing is tho my computer case is small so i would make smaller carbon filter and stick rite in to where power supply supposed to be placeed? or i shud jus stick it at the front side of computer case where cd roms r supposed to be ther? lol and i don have enuf space to put another fan :S only like computer fans, but i donno how to wire that and im pretty sure u need to use power supply with it ( no space for that). also, is ther ne way i can contact u like msn and crap to ask u questions? thz man

dude, all you need to do is to use a computer fan wired to a 12v power adapter thingy that you might get from an old Nintendo, computer speakers, or some other appliance. You know those little black boxes that plug into walls that have a thin wire. Find one as close to 12v as you can and connect the wires. Dont worry if their wrong or right cuz one way it wont spin and the right way it will so just find out which wire connects where and tape em together. you want the filter to be before or after the fan and the fan to pull the air out and not in. If it pushes air in then the smells will come from every crack in the case. You want the fan to blow the sweet stench out throught the filter. Wherever you can make space the fan and filter will work. you could make a filter the size of your light and have it sit next to it connecting to the fan outlet. That will also make more sense since the hott air is close to the light. maybe if you could post some more pics of the computer from better angle we could figure out the placement best.
