Comments About HTG Lighting

Get it dude, I bought one last week along with spare bulbs

Oh Shit that's a package, I bought the Htg 400w hps. Seems like a nice bundle though.
 
dude get this one instead its way better and cheaper on electric bills and only a couple bucks more:

trust me, I bought the same exact light you posted a link too, then I upgraded to the above ones


also its highly recomended to upgrade the lamp during checkout to a sunmaster or Horilux



it will grow you a lot more weed


replace the lamps every 6 grows as thier power deminishes over time but you cant tell by looking at it.

Thanks for the links! But i wanted a mh hps combo ballast
 
oh ya about having a combo liht MH and HPS, i had it once too but when u break it down you only really need the hps, mh might be better for veg but theres no real noticable difference if u just use the hps durin the whole grow,

so having a combo light is not necessary

o with the digital hps, the ballast much smaller and light weiht and creates less heat and also burns the bulbs brighter givin better yields while using less electricity
 
yah time, i'd go for one of the two that big p posted up over the one you did just cuz i'm not exactly sure on that ballast that comes in the set of your's.. the other set only looks to be about $30 or so more than your pick, well worth the cash in my eyes..
 
yea i love HTG lights though thats all i buy, over the years i bought one 400watt with the big bulky magnetic ballast, then a while later i got 2 600watt ones with digital balasts, then I bought a 400 with digital ballast,

I gave away the 400 with magnetic ballast, i lost one 600watter, i use the other 600 watter in my grow, and I lent out my digital 400 watter to a friend, sheeesh im tired of buying lights
 
i have the 600 watter from htg im very happy with. the reflector is kinda shitty but overall awsome for the price
 
i was gonna get that exact one but then i read somewhere you get the most bang for your buck with 600 watts.
 
Since i couldn't afford the MH bulb for veg, i'm supplementing with fluoro tubes (T8) and CFL. Seems pretty good so far these are 2 1/2 weeks into veg from clone.

i just picture it like if you had one of those light strips of light bulbs above your sink in the bathroom with 6, 100watt light bulss in it. thats all it takes when you run a 600watt hps, so its just like leavin the bathroom lights on for 12 hours a day


you can also replace all your bulbs in the house to cfl to save electricity.

I put motion senser light switches i bought from lowes in many rooms in my house cuz the wife and kids never turned off the lights,


so now when they walk in the bathroom the lights come on automatically and turn off automatically after they leave.

lots of little tricks you can do save more electricity, and then you can get the 600 watter instead,:D

So the 600w your linked me with the better bulbs added in comes to 300$. Thats a lot. Willing to spend 200 but not 300
