Flame take care dear. Hope there is someone there with you. I was in your shoes (but as the dad) 10 months ago. Almost had a 4 20 baby.
Acid I love diy n all but I just went with the ipower 400hps from amazon with the 6" cooltube and reflector for $172. You know you get what you pay for but an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 for 20 some users gotta give a try. If it fail well then ill be back st square one.
As far as my own thread FAIL. While start soon. Its takeing to the nutes well 3/4 inch growth on leaves plus almost 45% of second leaves form and starting to become individual leaves. Roots have doubled in the last 18hrs so the leaves growing slow which I have found consestent with my last grow up until 2-3 when the foliage just goes crazy, which by that time I should be coming close or a little less than half strenght according to my log
Flame please take care.
Edit: I'm a dummy read your post wrong

Lol, did you think my mom died?

No she was just coming over, and I have the plant on a stand in the living room right now.

Day 13

IMG_0627.jpgIMG_0624.jpg

Her second set of leaves are out completely. Now it is time for the third set to come out! SALUTATIONS!

I watered her today with the 1/8 tsp of maxigrow to a liter.

Btw, I always warm the water up in the microwave before adding nutes. Enough to make the water body temperature. I spoil my baby. :weed:

I bought her final transplant pot yesterday. It is a 5gallon round with holes.. Sposed to work like a smart pot by pruning roots that reach the edge and directing hormones to secondary roots.

prob gonna buy another 6 bulbs for flower. Be much easier than dealing with 10 23 watters. I hate rearranging those things.

6x35 = 210 watts

That or get one big 200 watter.. Idk we shall see.

Or get both ;) keep the big one above the plant and use the other six to position them around the plant.

A new hydro store opened up two miles from my house, so I am gonna check their prices tomorrow if theyre open.

HTG doesn't have cfls bigger than 35watts.

They work great tho. My seedling is under a 35 watt at the moment.

check your local grocery store isles for deals on bulbs. I just left mine with 3 55w 2700k's normally 17.99 on sale for .99 :o. In a perfect world I could pick you up a few :(

Ms. Flame I know for a fact that HD and Lowes carries 68 or 64w 2700k cfl that will fit in regular light sockets, and they're like 14-16 bucks a piece.

Home depot carries some 24-2700k in 42w , but that is the highest the ones close to me carry.

I got my 68watters from HD, they sometimes hide them on the lower shelves. You really gotta look for them.

plus they are 9 bucks each and for 42 watts you only get 2600 lumens

Where as the bulbs from HTG are only 7 dollars and they are 35w 2400 lumens.

Less whats and almost equal lumens
