Oh chemical make up.. sorry wasn't thinking. As soon as I googled it I felt the stupidity set in. Gibberellic acid causes defects in the plants from the seeds generated by pollen made from the acid I thought, because I "read it somewhere" so I stayed awayI've never heard of Ga3
I've always wanted to use this shit, just to see firsthand what kind of crazy growth would happen. I would definitely try it on some old ass seeds I have kicking around, if I can ever find em.Gibberellic Acid
I don't use Ga3 to reverse plants. I use STS for that.A friend once told me if you want to see all kinds of crazy mutations to use Ga3 lol
I believe you. It took me a bit of trial and error the first few times, especially getting the ppm and timing dialed in. Now I just make it when I need it, and toss it after 3 weeks at the most. I get way better results this way, but whatever is easier for you. I don't use it often, once or twice a year, because I love regular seeds the most, always will. Mainly do fems for giving away, alot easier for most people to pop all fems than pulling males, especially if you don't have room to pop alot of reg seeds. The specific CS I got from GNC. It's crystal clear and when you shine a laser through it you can see the whole beam. I have about a gallon of CS spray I made myself that has worked before, just can't get it to work on this damn plant. I've also used the GNC CS on other plants with success just apparently won't work on this plant. Many people don't believe me, think I'm using shit CS or doing it wrong but I know it's good and that I'm doing it right. I've used it over a dozen times in the past. If I could get seeds from this plant I would send them to people to see for themselves how strong the female genes is in this plant. It's a mutt strain but it's my mutt. I've had clones from this plant end up with crazy light schedules from the old school push pin timer being bumped and not knowing , fan fall on them, dog chew them up and even one time they got watered with baking soda and vinegar lol I was drunk and not paying attention. I didn't realize it for 2 days!( I used too use baking soda and vinegar to make Co2) This all happened to the same couple plants and they still flowered just fine.
My biggest problem is sometimes I can't find the strain I want in regular seeds.. There so little regular seeds being made now or they are over priced or out of stock, that I sometimes have to just get feminized and force them to switch to get my own seeds. I always get more yield starting from a tap vs. a clone. There is a site justcannabisseed.com that only sells seeds and they are only regulars. He has autos that are regs too. The guy will get right back to your emails and hooks it up with all kinds of freebies but he doesn't have a huge variety.I believe you. Yeah I agree with you there, so many fem seeds out in the past 5-10 years. In the long run making seeds is the most sustainable option, and probably the safest and best way to preserve genetics long term.My biggest problem is sometimes I can't find the strain I want in regular seeds.. I feel the same way. Once I have a plant of the right strain with good genetics and the perfect phenotypes I will cut all the bud off the top once it's ready and leave the small popcorn buds on the bottom. I will then keep those popcorn buds in flower for 3-4 weeks AFTER the trichomes turn clear. During the 3-4 week period I stress the hell out of the plant. Many different light schedules with 48 hours of darkness every 4th day. I also drop the temps as low as I can go the whole 3-4 weeks. The popcorn plant decides it has one last chance to survive so it grows bananas and pollinates itself... I'm sure you know this already... It's called rodelization. It's pretty cool and some of the seeds are regs. Only problem is you have to worry about hermies. So I then breed those seeds out to the 6-9th generation to get rid of chance of hermies and end up with another prized possession cubed in my freezer.Yeah I agree with you there, so many fem seeds out in the past 5-10 years. I personally think feminizing seeds alters the original genes of the plant but that's just a thought. I have no evidence to back it up nor have I read it anywhere
Sprayit right up till you see pollen on a leaf if you don't you will have banners with nothing in them you also don't need the week before flower and some strains reverse very easy with lots of pollen some don't if it don't work just try it againI started spraying a branch with 30 PPM colloidal silver one week before flowering. I am now 3 weeks into flower and the branch had shown no signs of flipping or stress after 4 weeks of spraying the leaves on the top and the bottom until it was dripping off. Then when I went to spray this morning the branch I've been spraying looks like it's dead. I know colloidal silver causes it to be stressed and look sickly but has anyone ever seen it cause a plant or a branch to look like this?
Sorry for the blurple light..

I have 3 different types. I have some I bought from GNC 30ppm, I have some I bought from Walmart that claims 30ppm but I only measure 25 and then I have some I made myself that I dilute to different poms. I made mine using 3 9 volt batteries, 99% silver jewelers wire and distilled water. There's all kinds of videos showing you how to do it on you tube. Look for ones that have 3 9v batteries. The single 9v method is crap. How was the CS made?
I did, this is very far from my first time using CS. This one strain is giving me a hard time. But good news and bad... however you want to look at it.. even tho that branch died, apparently the whole plant took in enough CS to start shooting on all the lower branches.Sprayit right up till you see pollen on a leaf if you don't you will have banners with nothing in them you also don't need the week before flower and some strains reverse very easy with lots of pollen some don't if it don't work just try it again
When you force an x to be an xy or an xxxy, yxxx, xxyx.... When it was originally an x, how is that not tampering with the original genes?Wrong ooooooo Mary Lou
@Moonmanyyc , I just used Ga3( gilberic acid) it made some really interesting looking leaves but hey, it workedI’m doing with STS and just started so I will keep you posted on the outcome
