I don't support Trump and only think what he does is funny. Because he got you guys way more triggered than Nixon, Reagan, HW, and Dubbya, combined. That takes real talent.

If you want to gloat about how Trump has us in a defensive alarm, that's on you. He's doing a great job of unifying liberals who until now have been fighting among ourselves about, as it turns out, small differences compared to your Republican right wing Trump party.

What will you do and say if Trump is president in another two years? Still say how he's uniting the left? Cause all I see is you guys only became more cocky and divided the same. While the Trump base, which I'm not part of,.remain as strong as ever.

My recommendation is knock off this alt-left bullshit, by making a compromise with us all.

Cause although I agree with a lot your side has to say, it's all or nothing for you. I don't agree with all you say, and never will.

I want socialism, an egalitarian society not one where feminists or black lives matter but all sexes, races, genders and religion matter, and where money plutocracy doesn't rule either by private corporations or state "socialism."

But compromising doesn't get your form of oppression.

I watched PTI (Pardon The Interruption) yesterday. They led with Kaep and Nike. Apparently female execs have filed a lawsuit against Nike for inequality, so Tony Kornheiser (very liberal) called Kaep out for accepting money from such a company. And of course he mentioned their slave labor.

It does give me pause

Good heavens. The red herring fallacy again.

Kaepernick took an knee during the national anthem because he wouldn't honor a nation that looks the other way when cops kill black people for no good reason with no consequences to the cops.

That Nike makes it's shoes using slave labor or has sexual discrimination lawsuits doesn't mean Kaepernick's message is false.

Don't like Nike because of the issues you raise? Don't buy its products and get involved in protests against them. .

Black people get screwed for being black in the USA. I am a white man who is raising a black kid. I am very grateful to live in Canada where the racial tensions are not quite the same.

And Colin was right to call it out. Racism is one of the stupidest things on the planet. We are all human.

Worse than rape, genital mutilation, and torture? I'm sure those are way worse. Anyone who's been through that or had family and friends who survived those atrocities would look at you funnily, just like I am.
