Coco Run off looks like Coco Cola

I am trying out coco again after having little success. I have rinsed, charged, then rinsed again. I noticed after a week of daily waterings with 200 ppm solution that the run off is still looks like coffee or diluted cola. How many times must I wash the coco before the run off is clear?

It was the cheastest big brick on amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Hydrofarm-GROW-JSCPB-Coco-Brick/dp/B008PGHCKW/ref=sr_1_26?keywords=coco+coir&qid=1559628865&s=gateway&sr=8-26 this stuff. Except it was one big brick instead of three small ones.
last time i used coca i had to flush it with 200 liters of water and it still wasn't 100% clear. i personally think he compressed blocks are pure trash. i kind of think coca in general is trash. i am thinking of trying big rock wool blocks soon as i think it could be better then using coca. that's if you must use a growing medium

i don't know if it would work but id imagine you could put the rock wool block in a pot and run to waste just water more often maybe it would need a res and timed drippers though

Never used that brand.
You buffered it which is good.

EC matters. Color...not an issue.
Check out this page... section on.....
