CO2 production via ozone & charcoal or activated carbon

Has anybody actually tried to implement this method for CO2 enrichment, or have any experience running ozone through a filter, and can comment on carbon depletion?
If anybody is wondering what I'm talking about, C + 2 O3 -> CO2+ 2 O2..

i think there is a activation energy that needs to be met for this reaction to carry out. check in a old chemistry book, that should tell you what requirements need to be met for this reaction to take place

I didn't actually work out the Hess' Law enthalpy stuff, but the tendency should definately be for the reaction to occur spontaneously towards the products.. Using solid carbon should be sufficient even without any surface catalyst, but I was considering the possibility of exciting the carbon with back corona to gas phase as well..
Now ozone + carbon from CO2, that one would require a hefty activation energy..
