Co2 Noob questions

If I run a co2 does that mean I need to remove my ventilation fan and close the entire tent off? What can I expect to pay for a quality system for a 4/4/7 space? Have any of you used a system and what were your gains like?

Yes, you would want to seal it up, The cost to do it right for that size area, really doesn't make sense. You need a controller, cheapest is a couple hundred, you need a bottle, About $125 and a regulator, about $100

I'm thinking along those lines it would be so expensive and I don't know if the plants would see that huge of a difference.

If sealing it up isn't going to cause heat/humidity issues could try the brewer's yeast and sugar method for the small space and see how it goes. Is cheap and if you have issues, like smell, you aren't out a pile of cash.

waste of time and effort, you need to maintain a proper level at the right times. Only using a monitor and bottle/gen can do that.

Thanks guys I think I will hold off on co2 on my next grow just because I should try and get some of my moneys worth for my ventilation equipment. I still plan to do a proper system down the road but for now I think I have plenty of other things to get right.
