So what color lamps and brand and configuration are you using to get those terrific looking flowers? Like how do you have them configured in your fixture?????

Alternating 3 3500k and 3 6000k. Just a basic setup, there elko and agrobrite bulbs

Ok,I've been reading till my eyes feel like they're going to bleed. I'm on a budget but like to try for quality also, so I'm thinking Quantum BB 4x4 hooked up 240v,buy one now and another later. For lamps I need to stay on a budget and not spend to much,so I'm thinking veg 2 flora suns,reef wave and blue wave.But for flower I'm not sure other than 2 red suns and 2 flora suns. And when I get the second fixture what might the best lamp set up be when running both fixtures together? Any advice?

My problem is budget,the red suns are $108 for 4 of them and $63 for 2 of each of the waves and $60 for 4 flora suns. These are the best prices I could find,seems like the lamp prices mentioned in this thread have gone up a bit. I want to buy enough lamps for 2 fixtures even though I'll only have one at first and save on shipping and handing and also get the veg,flower combo's. I'll have to order from 3 place's because of price and stock so I want to make sure I'm getting good lamp combo's for veg and flower before ordering. I can get the quantum bb 4x4 for $134 shipped.

marinedepot.com has red suns for $21.95, and coral waves for $16.50. Googled flora sun and found them for $11.60 each. Prices may have changed some, but not much.

Petstore.com has the same price but I found that they have the 2 reef waves I want and if I add them to the order I get free shipping and they drop the $20 bulb handling charge. Comes to $108.88 and has insurance,marinedepot.com is $108.18 but no insurance. I still have to get the remaining lamps from 2 places because of nobody has all of them at a decent price. drsfostersmith.com has the 4 flora suns for $59.96 shipped and petmountain.com has the 2 blue waves for $34.75 shipped. I couldn't find anyone that had all of them at a decent price but saved $27 by getting the reef waves with the red suns and my lamp total comes down to $204 for the 12 of them.The flora suns at $11.60 is a smaller size or has expensive shipping,did a lot of checking.

Nice find,where did you stumble across them? Problem is with their shipping and then adding the reef waves back to petmountan.com I save less then $4,but I'm going to call and check them out Monday. Because if I use them,I don't have to buy the red suns right away.

You'd be surprised how many places will try to match prices for you, if it means a bigger sale for them. Send out a few emails and see if they will match the prices so you can consolidate your order with one place.

They are actually a really good deal there. If you buy in quantity you save a little extra. Shipping isn't that bad, I think it runs about $18. The site is a little confusing, but it's $18 total for shipping, there isn't another hidden charge. The place is legit, I've ordered a few times from them. I believe my order came to $76 TOTAL for the 4 Red Suns. Seems a lot more that $4 savings compared to your $108 anyway.
