running about 12 of them in a NFT setup and a vert 400w HPS with addition UVB lighting with a solorglo extoterra 160w. got a couple other bigger plants in there too and a straw media with souil center plant too, those are in 1 gals.

ive done big and small plants, both are efficient its all about how you grow with what you got.

Yep, I saw that one recently and was thinking exactly of that one when you mentioned that! There must be somethin' to it... haha. Maybe I'll give it a go on 16 oz. solo cups, I got plenty of those. Only thing I don't like about solos is they fall over too easy!

yea they do. start drinking up 20z sodas or just tap water....empty the water in a jug to use for watering if u dont enjoy a nice glass of water..and just so u dont have to deal with the falling over throw them in a basket..pack it with as many 20z bottles as you can to give u a good idea of the potential

only downfall of sog is the charge and the taking care of multiple plants

What do you mean by "the charge"?

Seems like soda bottles would fall over easy too with their "pronged feet" or whatever you wanna call 'em... you know how they got that egg crate bottom dealy. But yeah, I imagine I could tape a bunch of 'em together with duct tape or something, lol. that should keep 'em upright... easier to do that with bottles than solo cups for sure!

I actually really like the novelty of growing out of beer cans, lol. too bad I don't drink beer, lol.

if u were to get arrested for having to many plants whether u are legal or not. if u had it in like a rubbermaid kitchen container or a basket that wouldnt permit them to fall right over u should be swell.

Ohhh, right right, good point. I forgot about that pesky little thing called the law... I just ignore it 99% of the time, lol. I'll still give sog a shot, because, whatever. Haha.

And yeah I could jam a bunch in a container of some sort, that'd work.

haha me too altar, whats a law? though we lived in the land of "pay or gtfo" nah, but its fucked up IMO thzt they can even have say how many plants i can grow, its not like thier telling the fucking tobacco company, hey, you can only have six plants for every employee. yeah right!

I figure the key is to never tell 'em shit so they don't come lookin' to count 'em, lol.

i think the key, is to watch yo ass! lol but thats why i try to avoid actual numbers online, and never take pics of more than a few plants if they can be identified as several plants (example my canopy in my grow could be one plant, or 50. its not but it could be to the untrained eye.)

but always remember they are after big fish, we little fish, when people like us get caught it usualy because of some mistake we made, and not because of actual investigations.

Or even, if I did have a card, maybe I'd set up an obvious grow with plant limit but be conveniently running a second grow stealthily too, lol. So if they came lookin I could show 'em my legitness, lol.

Oh yeah, definitely agree, first rule is loose lips sink ships. heh. But I like your logic about not making it obvious how many you got, too.

if i lived in a legal state, i wouldnt even apply for a card. id rather just never be looked at, id rather treat my grow shit just like if i was illegal for the most part.
but it would still be better becuase a) they would be more likely to go easy on you and b) even tho its legal, im not being told how to grow my herb unless they are gonna conform with what I need. and thats a big plant count.

If I wasn't so over indulgent when approaching it recreationally, maybe I'd have some on hand for times like now where I could really use a dose. I'm gonna have my girl make me some rice krispy treats with the cannabutter I have in the freezer I think, haha. I need to dose up on something, this pain SUUUUCKS.

yo the key is and spread the word...NEVER TAKE PICS OF YOUR PHONE...ANY PHONE! theres a pc program that can and will tell you just from me uploading your picture of your plant pretty much exactly where u live..i seen it on a thread here some kid was telling another wat im telling u guys right now and the other kid was calling bs; thats until he posted up where the kid callin bs lived to the detail. programs called exif or xif something like that.. no bueno!!! the non believe became a believe and thanked him, as well as hundreds of other people. use obsolete cameras! no phone no matter how old.. and iphones have a setting that automatically "checks in" a photo telling almost exactly where the pic was taken, and when the setting is turned off people find it turned back on by itself... SKETHCY

Yep, word, I never take pics with anything but my digital cam.

i say stick with the digital camera. a phone can work but i wouldnt use one.. you can directly upload from a phone but i wouldn't recommend it cause there is no way to delete the personal data attached.

does this shit apply when you use an exif remover utility before posting?...you might notice the watermarked x across some pics I post which happens when I remove that exif data from the pics...pretty nice little utilities, and free if you don't mind that faint x (i don't, obviously, and i love freeware that works). I also only use a digital cam, but i like better safe than sorry approaches for things like this...what say ye, AN fans?

those app work, but the issue is not the meta data for me, the issue is the connection used to transfer pic.. my computer network jumps like a kangaroo!
