Cloning question

I have a single clone in some wet sand in a little container sitting on a heater pad with flouros. Should I use the heater pad?

Depends if you think it's to cold.
the warmer the temp of the medium the faster you'll root
up to a point. you could say anything over 85 F is bad and 90 F is really bad you'll kill the plant. If you can try to keep it around 75 F to 80 F
I don't know about the sand, I've never done that before, buy hey if it works go with it.

water them with some rooting solution.
if you don't have any rooting solution. find a willow tree and cut a few branches
cut those into small pieces, simmer them with some water, just enough water to cover up what you have in the pot
let that simmer for a hour or so, and then drain off water throw the willow pieces away.
if you can test the pH do it. it you can change the ph keep it arounf 6 Ph.
If not don't worry about it.
