IN DETAIL:
1. Cut a 3"-5" clone off the mother at a 45 degree angle on the stem, this will maximize surface area of the cut.
2. Quickly insert in pre-soaked and pH adjusted (about 1/2 strength nutrient solution) Macroplug or 1.5" unwrapped cube (A-OK Plugs). The cubes require a new hole via toothpick.
3. Place in adjustable vent dome assembly, preferably using the Grodan Gro-Smart tray to keep the clones up in the air. The tray is also great for pulling out and examining the progress of the clones - some will root faster than others.
4. Use a turkey baster to insure the rockwool is fully wetted right after insertion and for follow-up watering until the clones are rooted.
5. Rockwool rocks because it is transplantable to any other medium. Do not transplant until at least a dozen or so roots are showing on the clone.
6. Maybe use a Hydrofarm heat mat in the winter, depends on your area climate.
7. That's it, no spraying, no magic chemicals, no voodoo procedures, 100% effective.
