Well, the Clone-o-matic 9000 is still only a cloner by name. I am going to empty the bin and add fresh water and earth worm castings (EWC).
EDIT: I did this and man, was it gross. There was slime in the pump, so I had to clean that out. After I had washed out the bin, rinsed it well and cleaned out the pump; I set about filling the bin and recutting the bottoms of the cuttings, re-applied rooting hormone and threw in a couple of my EWC balls. We'll see how that goes.
I'm also trying an experiment: I've taken four cuttings, put rooting hormone on them and put them in Rapid Rooter plugs. I then put the rapid rooters in potting mix filled beer cups, put the beer cups in a small cat grass try that I had and finally, I put bags over them. I was trying to think of a clever, cat related name for this Cutting And Transplanting method, but couldn't come up with anything. We'll see if it works any...OMG! WAIT A MINUTE!
CAT!
Cut And Transplant! That's good enough, I guess.
Anyway, they're sitting in the cloning closet and they look like this:
I also cleaned out the Aerogarden3 and re-cut the two Sour Kosher stems and transplanted the other. I ind of had to, it's roots were looking a bit rough. I put to plastic wrap around the outside of the Aerogarden and the new C99 cutting in it looks happy enough.
