Cloning device Help

I got myself a nice cloning device made specially to facilitate the labour intensive process of the conventional dome technique. But the past few cloning session got me real pissed off. My cuttings do root roughly at day 14-20. From there on out them little fuckers go limp dick on me, Yellowing of the leaves for the remaining of the month of growth then after that painful to the eyes long ass 30 days they finally start to really grow lush green leaves. Here is my rez soup/room temp/cloning technique

1) I start off by adding rooting hormone to my cuttings.

2) Reservoir :
- 1/3 strength bloom fertilizer to the reservoir
- General hydroponics root rapid start normal strength (not aggressive strenght)
- Ph 5.8

3) I keep the cuttings in the hydroponic cloner until I see root. Then I transplant them into dixie cups with promix HP pre soaked with :
- 1/4 strenght GROW
- B-52 vitamine

With all of that nurturing them little fuckers still have the balls to say fuck you were gonna give you a hard time and be yellow and sick looking for a solid 30 days of my life. What am I doing wrong

That sucks. All I do is dip them in rootek and dust them in recharge stick them in rapid rooters and plant directly in damp promix bx. Put them all in a big tray with a dome in my baby room and spray them twice daily for 5 days then once for another 5 then generally I see roots at the bottom of the cups by then.

How is the rest of your cloning setup? What lights are you using for them? And temps

How do the roots look? How long do you let them stay in there before transplanting them? Most strains I’ve done will be rooted fairly well after 14 days. Do you keep the dome on them for longer than needed? Once you have roots take the dome off.

so you should be able to see the roots easy then. How do they look they can still dampen off if the dome is left on if it’s one that has one. I had a aero cloner like that. Does it use sprayers or is it a sprayer/ dwc hybrid setup? I built one like that and it was pretty sweet. You have some pics?

roots are nice and white and roughly 3 inches long. No dome on the cloner. Its a Misting spray set up not a cutting submerge in water set up

So reading your first post again I just want to clarify something. Are you losing your clones or is it just the fact they go limp? I mean as long as they’re growing roots you’ll be fine. They can and generally droop a bit for a couple of days during the cloning process before they snap back. I’d suggest start give them some nitrogen/ grow nutrients and see if they start to pick up. Light light feedings of course.

Just my two cents; You're starting your clones in an aero / hydro environment and then moving them into a soil / soil-less environment. I would guess there's some acclimation that has to occur and that is the stalling in growth that you're experiencing before they get to taking off.

I use clonex, rapid rooters and the ol' dome...nice white roots come blasting out before the 2 week mark.
