Clones laying flat?

I cut 9 clones last night and dipped then straight in rooting hormone and into soil! They are all laying flat on the soil except one? I use 1000w metal halide! Anyone know what could have happened or if they will repair themselves?

Well for one that light is a ton for just clones, I don't give my clones that kind of light. Mine are always to the side of mothers in indirect light for the first week or 2 while they root, then I give them direct light.

if you have to use that much light make sure it is twice as far from canopy as it would be for regular size plants. also you have a humidity dome over them right? clones NEED very high room humidity, 80 - 90 % until they develop roots. i like to mist inside the dome twice a day to keep RH up. a lot of peeps like to use CFLs or T5s for rooting clones as it is a less intense light but still highly effective for growing young plants. hope this helps. He's right, you need to keep them covered and out of direct bright light, and also you need to keep the cuttings leaves moist and make sure your soil does not get too wet or the rooting gel will wash away, i used a clear topped box and a small blue led plate and in 2 weeks i had 20 out of 20 all rooted

Clones will often flop over and look badly at first, but bounce back shortly after, but I use a very small cfl to light my clones, don't know what a 1000w would do.

its notthe lighting its the heat . controle the heat and wtt's won't mean shit.. clones like heat any ways but not to the point of burning them up..
