Large areas of our southwest will become unlivable, the Colorado river is in crisis and the water level behind Hover dam is nearing the point where they won't even be able to produce electricity.

I am not sure that website is a junk site, I think it is just something that because it is helping people who immigrate to the USA that it is somehow 'bad' in the right wing propagandists noise factory.
As for my saying if you want to push anti vaccine nonsense, when things like saying that you blame the government for the work that the scientists did to create this vaccine during a period of time that disinformation is so wide spread is just more muddying of the water.
As for all those people who travelled here it is heart breaking. I am not a xenophobe that is worried about migrants coming to our nation because I know that they are always a benefit to us as a whole, and as a world we will need to learn to live a lot closer with one another. But at the same time we have laws that the Republicans flat out refuse to allow to be changed that halt our ability to safely incorporate people into our society so it is a very difficult problem to fix, which is what the Republicans actually want to be able to use as a political weapon.

At it's current rate of loss the Hover dam will not be able to produce electricity by the end of this decade, the reservoir is down to about 1/3 of it's capacity now, the lowest it's been since being built.

But seriously, if it came to relocating people to our fair clime, there would have to be a building boom, which would cost money. Hopefully it does not come to that but if it does there would be some coordination between countries. And it is not like we do not take in refugees now. "As of 2019, refugees accounted for 14.2 percent of all permanent resident status holders in Canada". Still think we should have a few nuclear powered subs and a few things to lob with them.

Wait. How did this come to be about refugees? The U.S. will simply do what it wants with Canada. No refugees, just another frontier to exploit. Again, the U.S. will never allow another nuclear power, whether it's the "good guys" in Canada, or anywhere else. We have a history of stealing land.

Still need infrastructure. If it got to that big of a problem there still win not be enough stuff up here. Need to move the factories up (thinking we weened ourselves off of China.
Canada has some nuclear chops. I could see it being done if there was a will. As far as not letting someone get a nuke, ask North Korea. And soon to be Iran.

I hope you don't default this year. If you move the people up beccause it is too hot, then the ones that have done useful work, like producing physical goods, will have to move with them also. Candt get nothing out of the factory without people. Then when you move the people up, you need them do something. Unless you want to prove the Republicans right and have a welfare state. But it really will be the multinationals that would be moving their factories, whatever is good for them.
