Chop my cherry pies tomorrow? Day 62 flower

Here are my trichs and my plants on day 62. Almost all the fan leaves are dead on my bigger plant. Time for the chop tomorrow? Plants are continuing to drop leaves and turn brittle. Yet I have NO amber Trichs. Supposedly these are true cherry pies, and read that some strains will never pop amber trichs. So am I wasting my time?? Decreasing the quality of my flower by leaving these under the light any longer passed week 9?

Not Cherry Pie. But GG at almost 14 weeks. Almost. Dropping shade leaves is normal. And yellowing is the plant cannibalizing itself for sugars. As long as the buds are vibrant in color. It takes a long time. And in my experience that wait until it is truly over pays off. 004.jpg

They aren't done yet so it's no surprise they aren't amber yet. I can see why you want to put them out of their misery though. I would nurse them along another 10 days and let them try to swell a little more.

If it was me I would wait your buds will get there and I would agree with 10 days the plants will let you know when they are ready but in the end it is up to you one thing are you counting the flower time by when you flip to a 12/12 or when you started to see the flowers start as always thank you for your time and the opportunity to learn more about growing

Your trichs are mostly clear yet. Chill and let the plant ripen.

14 wks flowering???
Thise looke way past done IMO.

the bud leaves are starting to go necrotic.No new pistils popping.
Why have you not chopped it wks ago?

Colour of the trichs?
In the piece I looked closely at approx 50% are amber, personally that would be fine for me but after waiting this long I don't blame him for holding off, it's each to their own though eh.

never ever heard of anyonewanting to go anywhere near 50% amber.

your letting the thc break down.

Dont harvest a cannabis plant based on trichs to get a ‘couch lock’or whatever. Harvest cannabis plants when theyre ready and grow a strain that goves you the high that you desire.

(i may be missing something here but that plant is waaayy past done)
