Choosing a rosin press

For I forget must say dont chase your tail over rh. The video I shared covered that far back in thread showing same batch diff inconcistent results.

I used to aim for 64rh and beat myself up if it was lower thinking lower yield. When lower than 55rh Id panick, think thats why no yield that time that strain.

This batch was 51%rh lol. Like I think mtraindog said if thats their name sorry if I slaughtered. Just press when feel dry.

I pressed kongs krush 6 months later in jar and some that was in super poor sealed baggy. If it has hash itll yield. Thats bs that too low rh wont yield.

Got to remember all strains different but thats speaking from pressing what.. 15 maybe 20 plus strains? Quarter them bought from store.

Holy shit the dry sift is like nothing this time. Not worth sifting the rest. So the bud trimmer destroyed that too. Last time I got an overall 2% added to my yield.

Phew I guess I just overloaded the screen. Was expecting a mountain after like 2oz or 3 at once first run and got like a gram.

I got a good amount like 10gs but if it presses like last time it will suck. Only like 3gs rosin vs 18gs last time. Sift rosin.

Also lookin like I can weigh and oress my results of rest of garden. Thinking its like a ib basically.

19.5% off 23gs to 4.48gs dry sift rosin. Including repress it was big enough to include. Not horrible but ya Im done with this process, switching to hand trimmed pressed flower rosin.

Purer isnt always better. Ive dabbed crystallene and diamonds look like actual diamonds. The raw product is where its at.

14.9oz. Weighed 29.6oz this harvest or 1.85 ibs. This bag is from a 2/2 and 2/4 vs my 2.5x5 it actually did better than my last run in the 2.5x5. This run I lost 4oz in there out of like I guess a pound now that I add it up.

8.6oz plant and 4.3 oz salvage and pretty sure tossed at least 3oz if not 4. So yup my first pound run ruined in that tent but shit happens.

Got to be safe and toss, this can be safer than store bought if no pesticides used and tossing any suspect growth. Stores probably dont do it and they did get exposed once like some samples slipped by.

But in reality I read here often that they and the test labs be lying for profit basically. Let alone a street dealer. Be safe yall!

Get that high quality flower rosin squished. But how are you dabbing it. What temp. How many hits. I’m looking for a new 510 thread device to vape. But it has to be clean.

Sometimes I do low temp for small small dabs. If its zbig enough I do sesh mode which is highest temp if I want to dab it faster. Pretty much dabbing it like its any type of dab.

I stop it just in time before it burns. I take about .05g dabs some times .07 ot .1. I dont know how many hits a dab maybe like 4-5. 2-3 for smaller dabs.

carts are quite different they vape at a micro dose pace I dont really like them. Only for micro dosing and I dont really do that these days.

Yea next time if I have to emergancy chop Im doing it in shifts. Now that I hand trim it takes twice as long but wow. I didnt think it was only twice as fast using bud trimmer.

I think I can do a pound in 8 hrs. When I chop the whole plant into branches then start bucking them into the trimmer. I could just take a moment to trim each nug I buck.

Thats the only difference. I guess I just had a horrid first memory of hand trimming. It seemed like hell. I guess its not if your hash plant grows favorably with low leaf to calyx ratio.

So Id just sit there destroying hash for several spins even though I did half the work already!

Anyway what was I saying.. Oh yea! So Il just chop one plant per day. Il give myself like 4 hrs a day so Im not throwing off sleep schedule which messes me up.

Press a half pound in one day after work for 4 hrs like I did yesterday. Otherwise I can chop a couple plants which is a whole tent usually a pound on a weekend and press it all the next weekend.

I cant do whole sessions staying up till 3am. Its killin me and even bailed on myself Monday. I got everything setup and bam. I was like why do I feel like passing out? Well I passed out.

So yea keep things on a weekend or just work 4 hr shifts every other day or day. Pressing my last 7oz tonight and then its quiet for a while again.

Harvest time wow didnt know till it was, that its the busiest time a grower can be especially if perpetuating. After all that work got to clean all tents and get new clones in there the same day its emptied.

There ya have it. One sleeve 200” lasted 2.54 pounds. Rosineer at that are cheaper. 20$ for 2.54 pounds.

Pretty sure I got another male porto leche. Wtf. You know how females just have that nice enlongated calyx with a lush little pistol all looks just lush delicate. Males robust with pretty much a nut in a node. Grows into a small spade. I have the worst luck with fem seeds I swear. People say males are the hardest to get.

Could be breeder practice. My TH seeds watermelon was female first try, this banana candy krush first try. Kongs krush by greenhouse seeds was female first shot. Lemon bubble was a male.

Just dont seem female.

i hate dabbing diamonds and other bho concentrates, but live rosin is really something else.

if the seeds are feminized, I'd at least put in under 12/12 to make sure. Doesn't make sense getting males from a feminized seed pack.
In the past, I've been sure i Had a male on my hands, and when I put in under 12/12, was 100% a girl

Tool weighs 17.54gs and 2gs flower to .39gs flower rosin aka 20% Its 3rd time its official, its a 20% the watermelon ultra by t h seeds. Must hand trim and crank temps to 220F 215bottom. 600 psi 40sec.

Doesnt shatter because shes got so much terps in those undisturbed heads from hand trimming. Better than drysifting its like adding drysift to it instead PLUS the juiciest heads I never got to taste and buzz from with additional flavors.

Maybe its just a journey finding that strain that changes your mind. No extra work it goes fast each press of 20gs makes 4gs thats like 3-4 days worth for me. I am learning to use as needed and finding better experience out of it.

Instead of trying to yield enough to dab like a all you can dab buffet I can just keep enjoying myself if I really am and take a Gro-Cation. Vacation from growin if you didnt get that. I like to make shit up. But Im not making any of this up!

If thats true Il flower it out in my mini test tent along with getting a blueberry bang bang freebie ready to run beside it. Watch the BB become this gift from god that blows all of my inventory out of the water lol.

I did flower a fem seed before sexing and only got compact growth with a bunch of sacs but I know what you mean. I just never heard of it applied in this exact scenario.

Gonna start callin this stuff crude oil lmao it can have bits of weed in it I dont care it doesnt effect anything. Its all oily keeps fallin off dab tool. Not as watery this time but could be not enough bud but the 20% was always there. I like the water effect its due to terps.

Dont really need bags and premold but it helps its convenient chottle tech is 12$ a pound or so. Reduces surface area for rosin to sit and flow helps keeps broken off debree from getting in there. Some times it can taste mentholly or vaped weed taste but honestly it rarely shows up or tastes much if at all.

Im a simple person I guess not that fancy but fell in love with the process and no chemicles used whatsoever its like a easy bake oven for adults with weed. Smash and grab!
