Choosing a rosin press

35% of 20gs qwuahtah oz of watermelon freaking ultra dry sift rosin. Yup this shits like hash rosin brahahaaaa. Vaped it too long on purpose no raunchy taste cuz its straight fiyyyaaahhh

37.5% if you count a repress. I almost didnt do it, just tired. Worth it! I lost ten percent yield waiting to press other half of dry sift last time. For sure better results pressung asap. Day 6 drying in 70-80F 50rh grow room. Shuffling every other day.

Now I get to snack on this as if its free. Wow so much does get stuck to the bag. Its whatever though. Half gram! Just stacked all 3 pucks on top another. Slightly more pressure.

Shoot before I forget need to note for next time I simply did 2x2 pucks 1.4 tons or one and a half marks past one ton. 1.5 mins 175F.

13.5 oz to me devoured tomorrow morning all day long. Time to crank it up all the way and break the knob off!

I wonder if the bud trimmer knocking off half the heads I could of yielded pressing if hand trimmed. The hand trimmed yielded 20% one time. That or for sure why I got 20gs dry sift from 8oz trim. 13.5oz bud.

More. Yet another 2x2 to chop but thatll be easy just 3-4oz. Freakin 2x2’s… They just are too damn small. How I get 7 oz from just an extra 6” around the plant? Idk.

12.5% from 20gs flower. Test dab its dry enough. Its good. 6.4 tons 1 minute 220f. 2.54gs.

Shits fire. Its still flower rosin so not trying to overthink just press press press. Double JJ had a good point. Its just flower rosin. No need to overthink an inferior product. Just something to start out.

My dry sift rosin is my golden nuggets to dab only once or twice a day. Go few days without and save up. Try make it last till the next harvest.

That sift rosin put things into perspective. Its just the oil inside the heads it acts a certain way. Waaay more zoot to it.

Ill surely be moving to hash rosin asap but need to do this for like a year. Theres no way around the inevitable raunchy taste that may come up here and there if you dont cut the heat soon enough to the rig.

Its very minimal though. Have a strong terpy after taste when coughing. Its pretty good. Im used to vaping live resin which dabs till its gone almost, so does my sift rosin.

Just need to cut the heat sooner, get some left over vapor as it drops back to the bottom of banger. Dispose. No staining.

Forgot to add Im getting blow outs but doing chottle the plant material can drop bits as you load the press. Just have to be vigilant. Its still good. Its flower rosin, cant over think it.

Not looking forward to the tediousness of hash rosin though. Even sift rosin I have to be super vigilant because its a pure product. Gloves. Change gloves often. Dont get the bag dirty.

Chottle super economical save killing on bags but its a little messy but its flower rosin, loaded with fats lipids unwanteds. Its just there to help keep as much back and its not all blowing out. Rather turning inside out from such thin bag.

Im also not lightening up pressure very much and loading 7gs now instead of 5. Just trying get through this jail lol.

Im high as FUCK. Dont under estimate high temp rosin I just screwed it up last time. 3.5 mins instead if 1.

By the way I cant do 7gs one oz at a time its spilling out and blowing out too much got plant bits but still alright im lovin this. Just need keep doing 20gs at a time 5g pucks.

Will have much less if any plant bits. Some heads droppin and bits of other stuff but very minimal.

Yea soon as I went back to 5g pucks no blow outs and all clean. Some will flip inside out a little but still holds back all the little bits. So far 18.6gs so good.

Thats already like 32 days worth. Like 35gs. I dabbed some throughout the day. I dont regret the high temps. I sinply need to or wont be worth while. Besides, even the terpiest low temp flower rosin has raunchyness to it.

Im just gonna go from this straight to bubble.

At this rate Im gonna have like 78gs. Thats if I got 10.5 more oz coming or at least 10.

45.24gs. 378gs flower 11.97% return. Im HAPPY. My plans coming to reality but damn my last plant started like drying out in some colas. Aside from that everything going smooth. Got like 10 more oz coming so yea I may very well get like 78gs.

Love my roommates! Very cool about the power bill and actually let me estimate and offer the price. I used grow room electricity calculator by hydrobuilder site. Helps a lot. I estimated as honest as I could at about 85$ a month in power.

So $200 for this harvest of 78gs but I still need to press the other 10oz before Im in the end zone. So about 3.5$ a gram. Oof thats not that good but bette than 11.6$ a gram. Is this worth it?! I need to hunt better yielders.

It could be 160 grams a harvest.

No medi I'm experiencing it too.

Oof I forget a few things about buying. Get stuck choosing whatever they have sometimes, which one time was stuff with added terps. So not knowing if that will happen again.

10/g if lucky which is often but also fairly frequent get stuck with 12/g unless I get lucky elsewhere but have to drive. Can only buy a half so go through this every 2 weeks.

I dont believe in driving high so my day revolves around it until its done. The half oz frequent makes me have to tip more often.

With growing the opportunities grow so I can really continue to make this worth while.

Im already saving 330$ a month with that said, maybe less depending on store market stock. No more spending the rest of savings on grow equipment though could use a new light hehe.

Not to mention all the hell that can break loose driving long distance so often, accidents, etc tyou name it. All for weed. Making my own is so fun.

I was too greedy to realize all this and Im not producing the best really but ok to start. 12% is pretty close to 15 so I guess thats why Im happy. I wasnt expecting so much fire dry sift rosin, what a surprise.
