Cherry Bomb Auto ....DWC .....led

hello

i am starting this here to keep a record of my 3rd attempt at auto dwc
1 one made me a monster (did the rdwc plan in a single bucket)
2 the root zone water got to hot mess it up
3rd one is this

ok details
DWC 10 inch basket
hydro clay pellets
jiffy plug start ..5 days
modified Drip ring ....pic and reasoning below
4 inch air stone disk (like this one)
air pump is over sized currently 2 gallons of air a min
the water level at 4 gallons (only for 2 weeks then down to correct 3 gallons)

currently in day 5 of veg....... day 10 since planted


now for the drip ring i did not like the fact water was getting splashed on the ring of the bucket and on the leaves themselves so i modified the ring ........i took a knife made the holes a little bigger and then adding some 1/8 drip line from the holes down to the pellets ......the length of them differ so i could get some close to the plug itself to all the roots to get something sooner


the feed line is Flora set doing the drain to waste once a week plan .....ph is 5.8 check daily

this is under the matrix S 600w led light on the programmed veggie

changed over the water .......GH flora plan early growth
ph was 5.9/6.0

water temp now at about 61 ........noticed it creeps up and then holds at about 68/70

plant looks good so far, I really like GH nutes my self. I like to keep res temp in the mid 60's, roots and plant seem to do the best.

ok week 2 done
had issues with equipment my ph tester was off so the growth is off some ..........ordered a new tester got here today i changed the water fallowed the feed plan for GH flora kit plus i added 3 mls of bio bloom from the go box ...and some voodoo juice for the AH line

3 nodes now .....here is the pic

For your own reasons you may need to clarify the purpose of using DWC on an auto strain..?

because auto plants remove the whole Light time table .............the sheer fact if u run your system on a 20/4 in 30 days my auto plants would have 50 days of photo plant with light on it ....currently i am on a 24/0 time table using LEDs with the ability to control the light waves (one light can do veggie flower and finishing with UV)

this is only my 3rd attempt at this hydro DWC stuff first one was the monster 26 oz 22 grams off 110day plant ........this one i am trying to control the growth more to avoid what happen last time

changed the water out .......fallowed the GH plan for late growth again ......i added in the AH root zone builder and 2 mls of Grow organic from the go box


nice growth no red veins

i might do one more week of late growth then change it over to flowering mix to trigger it .........has 6 nodes already and nice stem....i sawl one really long root in the water and several poking out the sides

Outstanding job so far ive seen those bomb seeds grow to monsters like you described before.... im groing in soil now but I have a few thc bomb autos and im currently aquiring equipment to start a dwc ...... good luck woth this one keep it up ill be watching to get some pointers

the amount of water the plant has been using has increased this week i had the lvl 1/4 the way over the 3 gallon mark ......as of yesterday it was about 1/8 under the the 3 gallon mark i topped it off......checked this afternoon at 5 pm and it was it was 1/6 the way under the line (we are talking pint moving near a quart of water used in a 24 hour period)

i can see the points of pinch are building the knots like wanted

so today when i checked and topped of the water ...........i took out about a quart of the water and added in 1 gallon worth of fresh feed of the GH flora late growth plan (poured the quart back in system)..........i replace the rapid start rooting with the go box bio rooting due to running out ....and i gave the system 2 ml shot of the go box cold pressed seaweed for branching (note for other the vegan plant food booster are micrbos)

the water is getting changed out in 4 days ..........still debating on giving it one more week of late grow .....the reaction i see in 4 more days will most likely be the final factor (and yes i rem the stretch factor)....give u a height reading on water change

has anyone ever attempted to knot the main stalk (super crop / pinch it so forms a knot) ........to those that do not know a knot is a dam/pump same time ......if u cut into the stalk u will see a hollow part in the middle like a strawl ...the knot makes a place for the water to collect and it always helps pump the water ......it fattens the buds more

i know some of u out there have mainlined so feed back place

hell id let it ride on grow and just bump it with some bloom ..

it just makes it not grow vertically as much ...... not really making fatter buds , the buds are just more compact and closer together / denser plant , just doesnt stretch as much going into flower

i pinch alot of mine to keep a even canopy

same old same old .........dodged the prison bullet (they changed the amount and good karma saved my ass) judge told me not to get introuble for a year charges will go away after that .....they had me on mad crazy pills again head is finally clear again and can work .....how is shit on your end of the world

i am not going for a monster ........i do have LEDs this time so i would not get much heat stress or bleaching .....but no monster if that is all the hydros i grow i will not attempt it again until i have some massive room

shooting for just a pound this time ........worst case this time i build a 3x3 scrog system can use .....but i want natural so i can get a idea never made one other then a monster or little one

i see so same ole same ....... pretty much the same here .... old lady brought a dog home 7 week old pitbull that decided to mow the grass for me so i got a bit disgusted and hadnt started anything back up

hahaha sorry to hear but at least u have a stoner dog.......no worries about it attack other ppl or dogs ...just keep some scooby snacks around

the plants height is 13 inches i am on 28 days
i when for the transitional feed of the GH flora line .........i added in the AN root builder along with a shot of seaweed and rooting from the go box line
i changed the air pump out to a stronger one mahahahaha 4 gallons of air a min tho a 3 gallon bucket

noticed some white tips on the leaves thought it was from being to close to light (at that point was 2 inches) but shown up on others that were no were near that close

so i added 1 ml of micro (GH flora box) plus 1 ml of bloom (go box) and just a pinch of open seame (ff powders)

note on PH noticing it has always trended up 6.2 6.3 ..water topping off is at 800 mls of water still just shy of quart
