Well, I will give you that one. But, I must hedge about it as the Chinese themselves did at the time. So the technicality, it was Volunteer Militia. Even then they would not fight directly such a close, "friend."
Although all units in the Chinese Peoples Volunteer Army belonged to the People's Liberation Army (the official name of the Chinese armed forces), the People's Volunteer Army was separately constituted in order to prevent an official war with the United States.

There's a report from CNN that Israel attacked Russian missiles directly and that Russia has responded by initiating the largest military buildup they have done since the cold war. This is not a pretty scene.
