Checking the trichs

So i have 2 plants of some sativa hybrid and im trying to decide when to harvest. I just checked the trichomes and did notice theres about 5-10% amber trichomes on the plant, not much u still have to look for them to find them but im thinking a couple days, what do u guys think?

I cant really tell from that picture.... need some better quality shots of the flowers..... This is what a flower that is a about a week from harvest looks like.

@BobThe420Builder @JoeBlow5823 heres a bit better pics, i only have a 8x loupe so you cant really see the amber heads but i checked it under a 50x microscope and theres definitely some

I personally would give those about 7-10 more days.

@JoeBlow5823 @BobThe420Builder got a bit better microscope for trichomes, a little blurry but u can see the amount of amber trichs in it

They are ready now, unless you like more of a couch lock kind of high. Looking pretty, nice job.

Yesssssssss thank god lol ive just been waiting for the moment some people on here start telling me its ready, lol i planted them in march and its my first time growing so ive become pretty impatient, thanks for your input!

BTW do you know what sativa hybrid strain it is?

Be sure yet not checking sugar leaves, they degrad much faster

@JoeBlow5823 @twentyeight.threefive @BobThe420Builder also ive heard its best to harvest at the very end of the 12hour dark cycle to have it at its highest thc levels, Am i good to cut it down now or should i wait till 11am to cut it? Its dark cycle is 11pm-11am. Its grow medium is soil and its been getting fox farm trio nutes but i have flushed the past 2 weeks

I'd give them a couple more weeks. You gotta be careful who you listen to on here. Joe and Bob are giving good advice.

Sounds like broscience. Some people put their plants in darkness for 2-7 days before harvest.... I dont see the point; but i dont have a commercial size facility to do proper size experiments on and get results i can stand behind.

Yup. one week would do it, but two wouldnt cause any harm.

Are they at least in the harvest window? I leave town in 13 days and want time to dry so if its a bit early im not too worried as long as its in the harvest window and it still gets me stoned, would it be much harm to cut em today or tomorrow? Ive heard drying can take up to 10+ days and i dont want them to still be drying when i have to leave town

Your in the window but the very very start of the window, it will be real heady high right now. Its just based on the way the buds look... I can look all over a plant and find clear, cloudy, and amber spots.... Like when you give a girl some roses, do you buy ones that are just buds or ones that have fully opened? Weed is a flower... it looks a certain way when its done.
