yea i have had stuff wax up with no pressure just heat, usually because i fell asleep, but every time it had trapped butane in and it would crackle.

that looks delicious.

its alll in the strain, both the color, and the time waxing. it could have been a early chopped, 100% sativa (or is it indica??), with very little butane used (which may contribute to the time it takes for an oil to wax).

usually, waxing is due to the complete removal of all butane, and all moisture... and some other stuff, but mainly butane and moisture. their starting material, and oil, could have had very small amounts of moisture and butane after blasting which helped it to dry up real quick, which isnt necessarily a good thing!! its pretty to the eyes and fun to play with, but wax definitely has its negatives.

his heat is probably 100f or lower by the looks of it... its definitely speed up, and definitely a very very slow process, even sped up there wasnt much action, so I would say its a pretty low heat.
