Check out my light set up, any good ?

Hey guys, I have been growing my plants for quite some time, at least 30 days under 75w light. I did not plan correctly and my 4 bulbs of t8 plan fell through, at least for now. I just so happened to acquire 2 , 500w halide lamps, and the guy who gave them to me said they get quite hot and are supposed to mimick the sun. Here is a picture of the lights. I just set up the lights, and they are 1000x more than that little 75w bulb! I am running them on 24hours of light and have been for weeks. I am wondering if these will be good for vegetation, and can I finally transplant them into bigger pots, being that the light is going to jumpstart their grow. also using grow nutes. thanks

you should def move them closer to the plants way to far away they will stretch like crazy and plus u will have better growth.

Ok thx but they are extremely bright, and very hott. I dont want to burn them or something. The lights are smoking they are so hott. They also are on 24/0 if that makes a difference.

Where are the 30 days plants???
This is my 30 days old!
Vegged under a 12W led and now a 26Wcfl and 5W LED

I know, I couldnt get a good light for 30 days : ( and they are White Skunk strain, and I did not want to kill them and start new ones.

those look like Holegen work lights not Halide. Not a good bulb for growing at all! Way way to fucken hot and not tne right spectrum of light. your even better off with shity CFLS

Yeah they are halogen work lights, my bad. So will they die if I use these lights? I opened the window bc they are so hott, outside is very cold so it is neutral in the room, a cancelling effect.

i got a homeboy who is growing with halogens and guess what? he is in week 3 of flower....

i thought the same thing until i seen proof!
