4x2x2 10" fan in and out ventilation that lil bulb has 1600 lummings just going to use it for 2 weeks for the seedling it has a pulley to lower and raise then im going to put in the 150 watt HPS set up i dont know if im going to get the 250 watt i really don't want to spend much more on this..... what do you guys think? also painted it white with spray paint i think i need more though........ help on that too please???? thanks! oh yeah and i need the carbon filter too

looking good but your right, you need alot more white paint, if you haven't got any flat/matt white paint lying around the it would be cheaper to buy some mylar than more spray can, and mylar is easier to clean. also you might struggle to keep a 250 cool in there,

so you think i should get a 150 watt instead????? thanks man!

a 150 hps would be good for that space, and produce some nice bud, however a 250 would produce more, either way even a 150 will be hard to keep the heat under control, you might be better off using both those fans as out takes and just use a passive intake.

although i would have both fans removing the air out and mounted near the top of the box where the heat is or 1 larger fan
and use a passive intake on the side of the box at the bottom at right angles to the outlet to bring air in and force it to be sucked across the space
it will be more effective at removing the stale air that way as the cold clean air will travel in 1 direction and be sucked upward out through the plants

I would have put the exhaust fan directly on the top of the cab to suck it straight out the top...you should be able to keep a 150watt cool up in there...fans look large enough...if not just cut another hole at the top and throw another exhaust fan in it

in what world is mylar easyer to clean?? mylar is about the the most non eayest option there is...... Dont go by mylar for your little box thats jut unnessessry really.....Mylar should be what you put in when you have everything else on point and by the looks of your box and the lack of money you intend to spend mylar wont make a defference in your yeild what so ever..... you should be worrying about the main factors like..... Light, water, meduim, nutes, atmopher and temp...... worry about those not paint verse mylar.....anyways like i said mylar ant easy to clean and its pricey...panda film is cheaper and so is a can of spray paint.....

the old style mylar i agree is horrible stuff hard to clean, and gets folds and creases in it too easy,
but the diamond mylar which replaced it is much better easy to work with, and very easy to clean it is more like a roll or plastic backed wallpaper
that is quite firm , you can staple it inside a box very quickly, and take it out and roll it back up again and reuse it with no creases

are you kidding? whats hard about cleaning mylar? it couldn't be easier to take a cloth and wipe it like you would clean a window! also its only £1.50($3) for a 2 meter x 1 meter piece. once you put a damp cloth on to white matt paint it looks crap and marks,

also he never asked about water, meduim, nutes, atmopher and temp,

exactly my point he never ASKED becasue hes asking the wrong question so im helping him redirect his attention to something that matters...... reflectivity is not something to worry when your grow is not on point.....worrying about refectivity and Co2 and topping techneqies and etc etc are all secondary issues that arent as important as the main factors......

When poeple come into the hydro store and ask me which is better mylar or panda film..... instead of telling them which is better i ask them stuff like "well are you Phing your water??" becasue most of the time people who ask questions like that dont know what there doing in general and they need someone to help them focus on whats really important..... so when they say "no whats ph" i say ok so lets not worry about mylar vs panda lets teach you how to grow first then worry about stupid little things like mylar vs panda vs white paint.......

SO since he dosent know even simple things like mylar and panda its only comin ssense to assume hes going to have far more serious issues........ Bascially what im saying is ive never seen a grow make or break from its reflectivity.........

Further more i wipe clean my painted white walls all the time and it still looks the same as when i painted it..... You must be using the wrong paint or someting......further more out of all the options maylar is not the easyest user friendly option at all.....maybe the new style is better but to say its user friendly over panda film or white paint im sorry i disagree with you on that one.....

also i dnt know where your buying you rmylar at but where i work it ant cheaper then panda or paint......
