I wouldnt be encouraging more white paint, a contact material would have been better, paint gives off toxins, i doubt the plants are going to enjoy breathing that paint toxin especially once 150w HPS will be hitting it. Mylar or Panda film stuck to the panels before assembly would have been best approach.

yeah it turns out i bought a roll of metalized 1ML film gonna be a bitch to put on now though but w/e i have to do to get it going ^^ i hope the paint won't fuck up my babies but im sure with it all coverd with the mettalized film it'll be good as new *crosses fingers* ^^

i never encouraged him to buy more paint, all i meant was its no where near white enough, i said he will be best off getting mylar if he hasn't already got white Matt paint lying around,

put an exhast fan in the top use the top fan in the back wall as exhaust and use the lowest one as an intake. i would rock the 250 with the three fans. i had a 150 hanging in my room. the temps between a 150 and 250 are not that huge of a difference in a 2x2x4 space. plus the 250 in hps is 28500 lumens. the 150 is only about 16000. the 250 is ur best bet for ur lumens to power ratio. even a 25 dollar 125cfm can booster fan would do wonders up top. plus the 250 can be put in a vented hood which will eliminate most of ur heat propblems completely. get a remote ballast if possible. otherwise u will be roasting ur plants if u put a magnetic in the box with them unless u get a digital in which case everything should be cool.

and footclan was right. if u dont have all the basics done yet i wouldnt even start ur grow yet. till u know u can disperse the heat enough and make sure u have all the essentials down. read and post as many pics as u can so peeps can give u ideas and help if u have issues. also ph is important. pay attantion to it. also if its truely ur first grow i would rec sticking to one nutrient brand. if u start mixing and matching as a newb u will probably give them deficiiencies or burn the fuck out of them and possibly kill them, hurt ur yields and so on. its all bad juju if u dont really know what the ingredients in the nutes actually do when added to the plant. if ur using soil most soils will lose the nutes in them by the end of the second month max if they dont sooner.

also a can of paint at home depot or walmart is pretty cheap. lol. just rock that for the walls.

i started my 1st grow similar to urs with a 150 hps. but i didnt have everything i needed right in the beggining and screwed myself cuz i didnt have the knowledge or equipement to properly grow my herb and deal with the issues that arose from me being a newb. but u live and u learn. good luck on ur grow man.
