No, HPS is what you want for flower growth if you have to choose, you can also get Hortilux/Son of Agro bulbs that include blue light. That will help your flowering via more veg growth during the flowering period. Other factors will be how much light, how powerful it is (more lumens == denser bud), how good your conditions are and your skill as a gardener.

And of course, the size of your plant when you're through vegging it. The bigger and stronger, the bigger the buds.

Is it worth buying a $100 bulb vs a $40 bulb??

You only have a small operation, so why not just feed by hand?

I like that I can leave my house for a week if I needed to, and I'm a HEAVY Pot smoker so I forget things all the time.... like watering.
Also Ive attempted to grow in dirt when I was younger with the whole handwater thing and was never able to actually produce anything smokable, and after a while it was just a pain in the ass. This type of system is what works BEST for ME and I highly recommend it to everyone.

So im 4 weeks into budding and I just found out that my plants have been getting almost 14hours of light everyday. DAMN IT!!!!! Now what????????????

is my yeild going to be messed up or is it just going to take longer then usual?

I got a Feminized Super Lemon Haze plant thats going in the new tray.

my new system came today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The super lemon haze is starting to get BIG. The stems on her are Fatter then the Cheese was when they where her size, and the leaves are HUGE. I think I got good genetics!!!

lolypop when they start to bush too much, if the space is too filled then start. theres no exact point, its space/area dependent
