The lie. I believe the truth. Trying to minimize the brutality that blacks receive by pointing out that this shooting was done by a black male is ridiculous. There is plenty of shootings in which the officer was white and got off without even so much as an indictment. Don't play dumb.
I'm not the one trying to pretend this is something entirely differant than what it is.

I'm not pretending anything. The fact the black community is pissed off at the police, and you don't know why only makes you look foolish in a political discussion. What's the deal with the gun, was it registered. Do you believe someone holding a gun should be shot? Even if they don't put it down? This isn't protecting private property here, this is a job to protect the public, not the officers. I couldn't shoot a fucking terrorist unless he shoots at me according to our militaries rules of engagement, so why does a police officer think they have that authority?

It's quite alright, the lot of us are pleasant lol. Whenever I travel to the north or to Europe I can't really stand the people's manners. I went to vegas and they didn't have sweet tea in the restaurant I was in. It was a pretty weird experience LOL.
I feel you, to a degree. In my case, my wife is 1/2 Lebanese, 1/2 redneck, and local. I'm a native NYer. Sadly, many of the 'southern stereotypes' came to fruition within my first few hours here, sigh....we were in a department store getting some supplies, and I heard the words 'ni**er' and 'fa**ot' from various isles, within minutes of each other. :(

But sure, I've met a few good folks here.

There was no gun; cops used a throw down and took the book..they knew there was going to be hell to pay considering he was the wrong person.

His family is being truthful.

Don't ask me how I know.
We know how you know. You want to believe the lie and that is all there is to it.

So you think the officer should only fire after he is fired on. Why do you assume I don't know why the "black community"is pissed off? When I see rabble rousers like you promoting a lie to further a political agenda, it's easy to see why they're pissed. They, too, are too eager to accept a lie when it is what that want to hear.

Its pretty weird for a while. They hand you a sugar packet as if it blends well in the cold tea. Homemade is better anyways.

They might release the bodycam footage earlier than state law allows. The law that prohibits the release of the footage doesn't officially go into effect for 3 weeks, according to the live feed.

you have been on this site for about 4 years now, so i can safely assume that you are at least 4 years old.

no 4 year old should be as dumb as you are.

a riot is the language of the unheard. guess who said that, pile?
I didn't know either, until I just looked it up;

http://www.alternet.org/civil-liberties/riot-language-unheard-9-mlk-quotes-mainstream-media-wont-cite

After reading that article, I must sadly revise my position that our nation has come a long way towards racial justice since 1968.

The evils of racism, militarism and capitalism are doing their dastardly work to destroy what's left of our democracy, while the band plays on.

MLK was an astute student of history, and we are living proof that failing to fund schools dooms us to repeat it.

No it doesn't. Religious freedom means you are allowed to worship in a mosque. I've never built a church but it takes money and some skills. Freedom does not provide money or skills.

yes, your racism is firmly established, cowardly halfwit.

"freedom of religion does not give you the right to build a mosque"
So who granted your freedom to clearly violate the debate rules on top of this page? Never mind the fact you're not actually debating anything with me, just hurling personal insults.
