Changing 12/12 time of day

I flipped some plants 12/12 this past Saturday. The lights on period is 8:00AM - 8:00PM.

Today the power company notified me so-called "Time of Day" rates are being implemented. Peak power rates will be 3:00PM-7:00PM so I need to change the plant's day to 8:00PM - 8:00AM to the new rates.

Do I unplug right now and turn back on at 8:00PM or when the tent goes off tonight, leave the tent off tonight until 8:00PM tomorrow?

Either or......
They're only into 12/12
I can't see it causing any issues this early on.

Agree, Probably early enough to do whatever, but preference would be to extend the dark period tomorrow since you’ve already got lights on today.

Just did the same thing a few weeks back(late in flower) I went with extended dark period had no problems

OK, I'll go extended dark. So off tonight at 8:00PM and back on tomorrow at 8:00PM.
