She was pretty much bone dry after two days. Some of the bigger buds had a bit of moisture, but soon dried out after being in the jar with the dry buds. Eventually I just dumped everything in a tupperware container, were they pretty much just turned to shake.Hey man, it will only get better from here.

Over half was used for baking purposes. lol
I could have dampened the buds, but it's not the same as a cure. I was disapointed too.
I learned from that mistake. It's one you don't want to make.

Couple things I have heard, to re-hydrate bud, is a leaf of lettuce, or slice of fresh white bread in your container.
Be careful not to use anything with flavor or odor, unless you want semi tainted buds.
I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR THIS ADVICE! i'm planning to harvest two days before i go on vacation for a week in mid-late June. a close friend and fellow grower told me after i harvest to just let the buds dry for an entire week while i'm on vacation, but after reading that i might just let it dry for 48 hours then throw it in air tight jars for the week im away... not all of it, of course i'll be bringing a nice head stash to enjoy on the beautiful beaches of Cape Hatteras, OBX NC!! I stopped using the 20-20-20 Peters nutes and started using a little bit of fish emulsion (4-1-1) and some bat guano (8-4-1). here are a few pictures of my little baby flowers, what an absolutely beautiful plant. (pictures taken with my Galaxy S 3, such a good phone it looks like i took them with a high end DSLR with a macro lens!!!)
i must say, the pictures look WAY better and more clear on my HD phone screen at regular size lol
OH YEAH! by the way, my Northern Lights x Skunk #1 germed today, she will be going out in the woods in about a month... i hope she's alright the week i go on vacation... its a damn shame i dont know anyone that i trust enough to show them where my crop will be and have them look over her for that week. im sure if i did that she would just happen to vanish come october

Keep her going like you are, and I bet you'll get a couple.
In a couple weeks, you'll probably have to start supporting your outer branches, either tie around the whole plant, get a tomato cage, or some Bamboo stakes.

And since it is Sour D, ive named her Dee, short for DeeAndra (from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia lmao)Keep her going like you are, and I bet you'll get a couple.

I got a laugh from the title of your thread, when I realized that's what I'm growing too, but I also have a Purple Kush in the mix.
Originally, it was just the Diesel and Kush, but I decided to add the 3 sticks I saved from my bagseed that just finished.

Wow man, I would say that looks about right for 21 days, but I don't think 7 weeks will be anywhere near where you want it to be.Does my girl look normal for day 21 of 12/12? seems like the buds are coming in sooo slowwwww. i expected them to be bigger than this by now... hoping they really fluff up soon, as i will be chopping it no matter what with no other options by june 14th.

Interesting stuff guys, followed the link here from another thread, agree with other guys here that you need to up your wattage a bit, also in my humble opinion its better to feed a regular small dose of mostly nitrogen right through the whole grow, but follow manufacturers recommendations from whatever product you choose. Good luck with this, I know that in Amsterdam, where I go for a break maybe twice a year , the Americans you meet almost write poems about the '' Sour Diesel '' that was around maybe ten years ago, I saw it in a coffeeshop and gave it a try and yes, it was quality, so Id be interested in seeing how this one turns out. As for the question you were asking at the start about yield, if you up your wattage a little and seeing as how you don't seem to be thinking of trying any such tricks as LST , tying or super cropping then it would be prudent to think around the 2 and a half to three ounces of dry cured bud.
im not sure if you read the entire thread, but ive slowly upped my watts from 114 to the 210 i currently have. seems like my biggest issue is how i am going to be forced to chop her down by day 60 of 12/12 at the latest :/ really sucks but oh well, i guess.

Something I thought of........
I read a while ago, changing from 12/12 to 11/13 would trick the plant into thinking the days are getting shorter (end of season) and make it finish faster, but in the process, you would sacrifice some weight.
I tried it for 2 weeks, and didn't see a diff., but I did not have another plant side by side to compare to.
Just an idea.
