CFL question

You can make some dank ass bud with nothing but CFL's. IDK where you get saying CFL's are crap. Look around. Plenty of people that have made some dank with nothing but CFL's. Even competition winning bud.

a note though, going from the 200w CFL to 400w MH HID, they grew an inch in a weekend. plants love HID. plus the HID helps keep the temps right during this epicly cold winter we are going to have.
I had a similar experience. CFL is for supplementation. I have used them, but I have used them properly. You people are trying to hammer a nail in with a screwdriver. I started looking for an HPS/MH from the time I plugged that light in. Having 8, 4' T-12s, a 22" reptile UV bulb, and 6 23 watt CFL (for supplementation of lower growth), I was pushing almost 600 watts as well, but it's a shady day compared to the HPS that is in there now. Oh, and it's a whole lot easier to move, and deal with the heat too than the big old floro.

something not intended to keep joe biden happy when he's reading up on the implementation of socialism.

A real light, is one specifically designed to do what it is that we are asking it to do. A cfl is an eco-nut oxymoron that has no real value in growing cannibus.

You want good weed, you need good light. There is no way around that fact. Even if you do get 600 watts worth of cfl, you not only have created a heater, and a fire hazard, you still aren't going to get but 1/3 of the lumens that you would get from a real light.

The only advice i will ever give a grower who is using a cfl, is to get rid of the cfl. Once they decide to take their garden seriously, then i'll take them seriously enough to help them out.
sorry dude ive seen ppl grow with cfls and their bud shits on ppl using leds and other lights so to each is own. Dont try and prove something that isnt right lmao

To bad it's easy as hell to move. It has a long piece of metal connecting all 3 light fixtures. I just bend them where they need to be. To move it up or down I just move it up a few links on the chain. Easy as pie. Don't be jealous. JK

Also thats foil tape on the "OUTSIDE" of my homemade light reflector for my Solo cup grow. On the inside of it is mylar.

Yeah it has done wonders so far. I will probably tinker with it some more after this grow is done. I will post pics of my other CFL's and my DIY reflector too after i get done watering my Solo cup grow.

Here is my CFL's and DIY reflector for my SOLO cup grow. Going to add 2 more lights on the end going the opposite direction of the 2 lights that are in there now.
hope that isn't mylar you used? if so not smart mylar is flammable.

I disagree....hold a lighter under it and it melts, shrinks away.....according to Dupont..its stable up to around 300 degrees..well read the thing..farther back is more

My bulbs are about 100degrees.. I can comfortably grab one

I would also say that "contraption" sucks as well..looks like it puts out very little light, couldn't imagine flowering under that..I have 750 watts in 20x26" cab and as I said. I pull a lb....growing landrace sativas....if you know what your doing you can get weight. I pull slightly less than my 600cooltube..including ballast they about use the sane amount....but the bud out of cfl is better and the plants are healthier..I've been doing this a long time, something like 11 years..I still run my cfl setup even with the slightly lower yield because of the bud.. I do have an hps to compare to and I'm not comparing my newb grows to my experienced late grows using different lights like y'all

I have an hps and I still choose to keep my cfl setup along side...you don't think there's a reason? Lol yea you probly did get poor results using those long tubes and very little lumens..
