CFL question

but the bud out of cfl is better and the plants are healthier..I've been doing this a long time, something like 11 years..I still run my cfl setup even with the slightly lower yield because of the bud.. I do have an hps to compare to and I'm not comparing my newb grows to my experienced late grows using different lights like y'all

By better what do you mean? Better taste? If the plants we're healthier would they not produce more? I am a real newb and actually am in the process of trying to decide if I should switch out my 8 T5's and 600 to a single 1000. I am limited to 1000w and my canopy is 6x4. The buds are basically the same under all sections of the lights but perhaps a little tighter directly under the 600. From everything I read the HID lighting is way better than CFL's and T5's are better than CFL's. Is this wrong in your opinion?

I view cfl as sort of a broke mans cmh..you get a lot more blue and uv as well..I don't know exactly why but even on the same plant , bud getting cfl light is frostier than the hps bud. You may have noticed this if you run side lighting.

Yes the bud is a bit fluffier you lose some bag appeal, and weight..from everything you read? Like mylar bursting into flame from a cfl? Maybe flushing too..the plant doesnt do as good under that spectrum..I don't mean healthier in the sense of deficiencies but growth rates and luscious leaves, the plant just thrives and seems to grow faster...do whatever, listen to whoever....I'm just sharing my thoughts on why as I moved up in the growing world I kept my cfl cab

Actually I dont see much of a difference between any of the plants where ever they're placed TBO. But like I said I am torn. I may switch to the 1000 I have sitting on the floor and try it as well. Not sure how the light would affect the taste, never read that before and I have done complete grows with T5's as well. But as stated still a newb on my 11-12th hydro run.

I had 7 under it last time in a 4'x4' tent, just a straight grow, nothing special, got a bit crowded in there so now i have 3 mothers and going to flower in a different tent.
