CFL question, take a wild guess please.

I've had these CFLs for a long time. And I have no idea which one I should use for the vegetative cycle. I don't know the kelvins or lumens of them which is why I'm asking this question. The big one (above the cd) is 20 watts, the small one is 14 watts. Which one should I use? Not both because I only have one light socket to use.

If this clue can help identify how many kelvins the big one is, then so be it. The big one takes a couple of seconds to turn on. Is this a clue to being 2700k or 6500k? It is a little dimmer than the small one and is warmer. Would it be a 2700k?

u can check by seeing the spectrum of the light like for flowering orange red or for vegging blue white

for starting off I would use the highest watt you have and then get some more cfl's the more the better.
Keep the bulb close to the sprout.

i dont have any way of making multiple cfls work. i only have 1 light socket. i'm not planning on this being big. I have a pretty big HPS which i might use for flowering so i'm not worried. but how the hell am i gonna suspend that fucker over my plant? its huge and i dont want to put the plant in a box.

For the cfl by a socket splitter. It has a light bulb end then has 2-4 othersockets that get power from when you screw the adapetr into the original single socket at your house. Itll like like a 4 way on a ceiling fan with just 1 male thread that screws into your light socket. You askin about how to hang the hps? Depends where your growing .Eye hooks in the ceitling pulleys.Light yo yo. Reflector and bulb shouldnt way more then 15 lbs or so tops

Both of those bulbs you have would are O.K. for vegging, but they sure as hell aren't strong enough. I would definitely make a trip to Home Depot and get the highest lumen output bulbs you can find. They come in packaged deals which are very cheap. I would definitely invest in a Y splitter like FilthyFletch said. You can also get some good cheap reflectors there too. Good luck on the grow.
