seems about half of CFLs knock out damaging levels of UV-C and can cause skin cancer....glad i kust got my first HPS.

The article says it requires prolonged exposure within a foot of the lamp or closer to do anything bad to you, and at worst within 2cm of the bulb it's merely equal to sunlight.

When are you ever within 2cm or even a foot of the bulb for prolonged periods, hours at a time? Never. Do you ever spend any time in the sun?

I believe cfls also have mercury in them, some even say depleated uranium, please package them all up and send them to me, specifically higher wattage 2700k bulbs
