Haha thanks for the reassurance JJ! yeah im definitely gonna build a greenhouse with mesh over the entire thing now...and I dont have to worry about rains, last year I covered my plants near harvest cuz it rained, but in my climate.. it worked against me, what happened was it rained, but then got super hot the next day and created a super warm and humid enviroment and i lost some colas due to mold...I actually can just let my plants in full flower get rained on and they dry out super fast the next morning...anyways thanks bro you been a great help with this whole budworm dilemma
Zig Zag Zane, now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time. What's up Zane? Why no 2010 journal? I remember Zane as the dude with the Lizard Army, eating the bugs out of his garden. I was doing the same thing, catching Lizards and throwing them into the garden. Welcome back bro, bummer about the bud worms......I spray mine with TB starting in mid August every 3-5 days with about 4 or 5 treatments (when buds are just starting to show) . I had no worm loss, but did lose about a quarter to half ounce from my late flowering Mind Bender X Afghangooey girls (3.5 lbs off of 4 plants) due to mold rot. That late September storm was a non issue , I just covered up! Good to see you around ZZZ.
Peace

sooo... your gonna smoke that? lol it gets in the soil, then goes up into the plant. but hey i guess it changes into its basic elements anyways so its not straight dog piss
i use my own pee in my organic nutrient tea all the time, a great source of nitrogen and other stuff. dilute it though its pretty strong by itself will your planties

It's time for a little update from the greenhouse.

I lost a 3 month battle with spyder mites, on one of the PK. I had to remove her.

I have replaced her with another WW in a 15gal pot. It's only June & the WW are fast growers, so I still have hope for this space.

The rest of the plants are growing great. The WW are almost 8' & getting thick!

Sadly, she was so infested it was a mercy killing. I tried several times to rid them. Had to get her out of there, before she spred them. I'm still spraying the other plants regularly.

She will be re-cycled.

Thanks NeL, I'm already thinking about raising the roof again, do you think 12' will be enough?

A couple of still shots from today. The last resting place of PK#2. R.I.P.!

Peace

have you heard of Azutrol?? it's like super concentrated neem oil extract. it can be used as a systemic pesticide as well as a foliar feed. I find that mixing the two treatments will erradicate most any infestation.

Looks awesome. Don't forget that your garbage can be searched if it's off the property (on the curb).

They didn't seem to mind those couple ~100F days we had at all. Good luck.

Thanks peps.

Steadman, I'm using something else, but I'll look for some Auztrol.

Ugh yeah, I highly recommend the OF/HF mix. Keep watching.

No worries about a search, I'm a legal Cali med grower. I'm more worried about the trash-picking bums finding it, & knowing I grow.
But they don't look in the 'green waste' can. lol!
I have to worry more when the plants start to smell.

Peace

o and its AZATROL for spidermites. I use it a lot and it works great. Its a little expensive but is concentrated and last a long time.
