I disagree with that mate. I have Parkinson's, and there is certainly medicinal value in cannabis. I think cannabis should be de criminalized..it's safer than drinking, but it isn't here...and I'd like to keep the med laws in the meanwhile.

Bob, this statement you've made confuses me some. It sounds like a little flip flop on your behalf, or is your thought slowly being converted. It's just that from what I've observed it's given me the opinion that you have felt like its medical or it's to be looked down upon. I believe that we've handed over far too many liberities already and espically ones of this nature. I understand that you just don't the law to be misused, I can understand and appreciate that. It seems to me a comparative would be to revoke the entire states driving rights because we have drunk driving incidents. It's a diversion from the real issue, the fact that people seek to undermine the legislation by any means and they accept support from where ever they may find it.

To the original op, I think if one were growing that many plants to the point it became a full time job, they should be compensated. With that said, if people turned it into a full time job I'd imagine the market would eventually be flooded and the price would drop significantly (as it should). So all in all, things would balance out.

It shouldn't confuse you, it's been my position all along. Medical cannabis is a separate issue from legalized or decriminalized cannabis.
My position has been the same all along. The people hiding behind the medical law, are hurting both the med law, AND any hope of decriminalization.
Responsible use of the Med law, would bolster support for more lenient laws in other area. But the abuse it's been given bolsters the anti cannabis side.
Easy to understand why you think I flipped flopped, Timmahh mis states my position so often, that people think what he says my position is, IS my position.
But I have always been pro cannabis in all areas.

My only issue every with the whole medical marijuana scene is that it makes everyone else but the "medical users"...criminals. I do not wish to be thrown in that grouping.
The right to use this plant should not be on a "medical" grounds. It should rightfully be on the grounds that from my flesh inwards is MY JURISDICTION. Not the Governments. If I for choose to flood my internal body with all the known cannabis in the world, then it is my prerogative, my right, and my choice. It effects nobody but myself, and I will be the only matter held responsible for my choices.
The medical movement has only proven to widen the problem for legalization. Its just not the right foot to walk on for this movement. It takes away from so many others that SHOULD HAVE the same terms to use this plant. It benefits , so be it!
So meanwhile the "medical patients" get their causes honored, while everyone else stays in the same violated legalities. I am not saying that the medical movement cause these problems, the laws did, but I am saying that it has caused more harm to the whole process of rightfully legalizing based on civil rights and not medical clauses. The more we focus our time and energy on the medical scene the less progress we make on what should be.
Remember, if you support "medical cannabis patient rights"....you inherently support many other things, that you may or may not be aware of.
This plant, or species, is as old as our species if NOT OLDER. My right to utilize this plant is not founded on some medical laws, never has been and never will be, its the fact that I live in a free society within a Democratic country, that I have given blood for twice in war. I will be damned and dead before anything that walks this planet tells me I can't use this plant and that if I must, I must do so within medical laws.
More so, Its based on my factual denial of our societies laws. I refuse to accept any laws in which outlaw a species that is more native to this planet than myself. More so, its a species of plant that supports our species existence. To outlaw nature is the epitome and height of American Ignorance! When you think your laws triumph mother natures laws....something is way way wrong!

I am not proud any longer to be an American, and I do not agree with just about anything our country does as a whole. Especially foreign affairs wise.
Sadly, I regret my service with this Country. I have took the lives of innocent people all in the name of a very piss poor country. For that I suffer a life long regret that I can never change but wish everyday I could. If I could bring back ever last person I caused to die in exchange for my life I would wish a smile and thanks!

No. I am ashamed of the Country and its leaders. Accountability wise, America, IMO, is not something to be proud of. I personally think its a gross thought to be proud of America, and its history. I stated I was proud to serve the people, not the country. I think the people have had shit pulled over there eyes for so long they cant help but blindly chest pound!
